Let me start off by saying this was our first experience here, and we were celebrating my birthday. I think our waiter was new. He was attentive, but unfortunately got some things wrong. My husband ordered the prime bone in strip, but was brought out the ribeye. He ate about a 1/4 of it, and was very confused because there was no bone, and he said it didn’t look or taste right. We called the waiter over and asked, he went and checked with the kitchen and confirmed he got the ribeye instead of the prime bone in strip that was ordered. They did offer to remake it, but we were on a time schedule for a show, and my husband said the ribeye was a good steak nonetheless. He told them it was fine, not to worry with making another. One of the owners talked with us, and said since it was their mistake they wouldn’t be charging for the prime bone in strip, and I’m just thinking well yeah, why would you charge us for something we didn’t get? Possibly he meant they would remake the correct steak and not charge us the difference since the ribeye was cheaper, but that was unclear to me.
I got the filet mignon, and chicken fried lobster tail. I was told the filet was 8 ounces, but it looked smaller in my opinion. I ordered it medium rare, but it was almost cool to the touch in the center when I cut into it, so it was closer to blue rare than medium in my opinion. It was still very flavorful and tender. The lobster tail I didn’t enjoy as much, it had too much of a rubbery texture, and wasn’t very flavorful. To be fair I’d never had lobster tail prepared that way, so I have nothing to compare it to.
When we first arrived I was given a birthday card signed by several employees, I thought that was very thoughtful. Our waiter asked whose birthday it was, and I informed him it was mine. He joked about me turning 21 again, we exchanged polite laughter, and we continued on. I kept the card on the table. When we were concluding the dinner he told us to hold tight, they had something for us for our anniversary. We laughed as we assumed he was joking, and thanked him. Sure enough though when our dessert came out it was written beautifully in chocolate “happy anniversary”. The dessert was delicious, but the rest of the night everyone was telling us happy anniversary. Not a huge deal, but comical for sure.
We got the check, looked it over, and gave our credit card to pay. We signed the check, and then we left. It wasn’t until the next day my husband realized we never got the credit card back. Now it is possible the card was under the receipts, but I honestly believe it wasn’t in the check book at all when we got it back. I could be mistaken, but me and my husband both looked over the receipt in the book and neither of us noticed the card being there. My husband called, they still have it at the store, which is an hour away from our home.
We probably won’t choose to dine here again, as it was very expensive, and unfortunately neither of us thought it was worth the cost. The food overall was good, but in my opinion wasn’t worth the price. Also, the sides do not come with your meal, they are al la cart. If you do eat here I would highly recommend the quail medallions, that was mine and my husbands favorite out of...

As of today I was told by the manager Mr Steve that I have a "reputation"! He said he honors what his staff is about they can do no wrong. And decided. if anything goes disrespectfully to one of his staff I'm out the door.
Supposedly I can't have a say so because I felt like I needed to correct someone or question a person's attitude. When someone serving of food as I told you guys before you do not want them to be serving you with a bad spirit that can go into your system and pretty much just do all kinds of things in your spirit, which is not very pleasing. He told me on day one that I was trouble. He was very choosy with his words and I decided to go ahead and leave because I feel uncomfortable. I was told that the staff walks on eggshells because no one wants to come and serve me because I am such a threat or somehow a ill manner person? As you guys know I go to different restaurants and give them five four stars because of certain things. It's very rarely that I give someone one star but if it's something major I think someone should know about then they should. The owner should look into his staff and the general manager because I actually asked some colleagues and they will tell you otherwise. I've been too small diners to four five star restaurants and I always get great service because from the start and get go I had great service. Just because maybe the color of my skin or the way I dress tell some people otherwise they feel threatened. I have no clue but again as I stated about one restaurant a year ago you shouldn't slander somebody if you don't know exactly what's going on just because you heard here saying. The major host with the curly hair she certainly had the attitude today but again I'm the bad guy. It's okay God knows my heart because nowadays good is bad and bad is good I'm not surprised with this. But just like anything else in this world this too shall pass!
Mr Kevin was my server. He was nice enough to give me his UBS charger so I could actually charge my phone. I was running out of juice.
The food was excellent, and it's my favorite place now because they serve bison burgers among other dishes served with 🦬 bison. If you're a steak lover, it seems they have really good steak, too. I enjoyed the Gouda mac and cheese man who was so good they actually used the large pasta shells. The hand cut fries were not too bad. The fries are seasoned. I believe you don't have to have the seasoning added if you don't want to.
As for desserts, I was not up to par to get any. But I heard the bread pudding is excellent. I'm going to have to try that next time.
It wasn't too crowded but I can see this being crowded at night, especially during the summertime. The ambiance was spot on.
FYI: May 20th, 2023, I just ordered the bread pudding. Oh my goodness, it's excellent. Make sure you get it...
Read moreOverall Great service/ food and atmosphere! Definitely would recommend visiting. We have tried Buffalo Burger (+extra Bizon patty) & Bone-In Cowboy Ribeye & Creme Brule for dessert.
Served by Declan Helton
Pros: Declan (waiter): -- Was very polite/ respectful has great sense of humor -- Easily accommodated all my asks such as substitute for fries (i asked for mashed potato instead- you cannot see it on photo since it was brought to me additionally) + adding additional bizon patty to my burger & adding sriracha on a side -- Since i count macros he quickly helped me to figure out how many ounces are the bizon patties -- Everything was brought to us in time -- Constantly checked on us to ensure we have everything we need -- He also gave us a lot of great recommendations on the menu itself
Food: -- Delicious - I can easily give 9-10/10 for meats for both dishes we had, except dessert. My rating for creme brule would be 5/10 (I explained my rating for it below) while my friend rated it close to 8.5/10 -- To note food is not high sodium/ no MSG added and has very natural tasty flavor. I often get swollen if food contains a lot of sodium and/or MSG. -- I asked for rare bizon patties, and it was perfectly cooked to desired state
Atmosphere: -- Music was not too load which allowed us to talk -- A lot of interesting decor that compliments the place
Additional marks: -- Clean washrooms -- Clean cutlery/ plates and tables
Just minor improvements recommendations:
Waiter should ask guests of any allergies ahead of their order Creme Brule if you ask me had some unusual after taste. Creme Brule is my favorite dessert and with this one there was something unusual in aftertaste of the custard itself, I recommend reverting back to original traditional creme brule recipe to achieve more...
