This place really exceeded my expectations! I was a little skeptical at first just because there can some businesses in downtown district areas that care more about how much to charge rather than to give people good portions/ good food, for the price that they’re paying (which more than half of the times tends to be too much). However, this place is truly a hidden gem!! We ordered the chicken flautas and were amazed at the size when they came to bring them to us at our table!! Biggest flautas I’ve seen in my life and they were generous with the meat, and they were delicious!! We got the Horchata and it was also great, not too overly sweet. Definitely worth the price they’re charging for them! The establishment is super clean and the music is great and at a good volume for you to enjoy the ambiance but not get too overwhelmed. It makes me happy to see there are still good mexican businesses that genuinely serve good food! I gave the service a 4 star only because whoever was at the register was talking to some men that were already sitting down in a very bright manner but when it came to taking our order she sounded serious and like she was upset we had interrupted their conversation even though I was being very friendly. I’m guessing they were regular costumers which is okay! I know the feeling of talking with regular costumers as opposed to non regulars but I still think you should keep the same upbeat energy when taking anyone’s order. She did come to check up on us to make sure we were doing okay though 👍🏽. Restrooms are also very clean and although they are small they still have enough room for a diaper changing station (in the woman’s restroom) which I appreciate. Only downside to this location is parking because I can imagine it gets busy on weekends and nighttime but there area is very clean and pretty to walk through so it’s worth the walk from the parking lots nearby.

I am ONLY giving 5 stars because of the carne asada tacos. Those were packed with flavor. Trust me, I have been to a lot of taco spots in Dallas. The carne asada tacos here are really good. You need to order them if you go. Also get their watermelon drink! The fruit flavor really comes out in the drink and you don’t taste that much sugar. It’s delicious. The churros were also good, but they were not made by the restaurant! Mas Street Tacos didn’t have any ingredients to make churros that day. A place nearby made them. So, I would definitely go back again and get the carne asada tacos and watermelon drink. That’s a good combination of items! Here was the bad: The worst birria tacos I’ve ever tried anywhere (at least so far). The meat was greasy. The consommé is in 2 small cups so you can’t really dip the birria in it that well. The tortilla was very soft and not good. The barbacoa taco felt somewhat greasy. I didn’t like it. Not every spot can make really good barbacoa, though. It’s hard to. I also wasn’t a fan of the flan (but I don’t think I am much of a flan person anyways). I ordered chocolate flan and they brought me regular flan and insisted it had chocolate in it (it didn’t). Annoying. The refried beans were average. If the carne asada tacos weren’t as good as they were, I’d give this place like 1 or 2 stars.

Sometimes I just feel like eating simple street tacos. Mas is an excellent option to satisfy that craving. If I rank the meats based on flavor, it goes barbacoa, asada, and then chicken. The shell of the tostada was crispy, chewy, and didn’t crumble under the weight of the generous portion of toppings. The service was prompt. The location is in the West End near one of the new pocket parks the city has built. I remember a time when the West End was teaming with people and energy. I hope they figure out how to get more people down there so places like Mas Street Tacos can make it over the long run.

Mas Street Tacos offers authentic street-style Mexican cuisine. The standout items include their quesadillas, churros, and a variety of tacos featuring chicken, steak, and shrimp.

Starting with the quesadillas, perfectly melted cheese and your choice of filling, providing a savory and satisfying bite that balances texture and flavor. The churros are a must-try dessert, crispy on the outside and delightfully soft on the inside, dusted with cinnamon sugar and served with a side of chocolate dipping sauce, making for a decadent treat that rounds out the meal perfectly.

When it comes to tacos, Mas Street Tacos excels with their chicken, steak, and shrimp options. Each taco is expertly prepared with fresh ingredients and traditional seasonings, showcasing the rich flavors of Mexican street food. The chicken tacos offer tender, well-seasoned meat, while the steak tacos boast a robust flavor profile with juicy, grilled steak. The shrimp tacos are a seafood lover's dream, featuring plump, flavorful shrimp complemented by fresh toppings and zesty sauces.

Beyond the food, the ambiance at Mas Street Tacos contributes to a welcoming dining experience. Whether you're dining in or taking out, the friendly service and vibrant atmosphere add to the enjoyment of the meal.

Overall, Mas Street Tacos impresses with its commitment to quality ingredients, authentic flavors, and excellent preparation. Whether you're craving a quick bite of tacos, indulging in a comforting quesadilla, or treating yourself to a sweet finish with churros, Mas Street Tacos delivers a memorable dining experience that celebrates the best of Mexican...

I was limited on time and wanted to grab something quick and easy for lunch. I saw that Mas Street Tacos was a 2-minute walk from my hotel. As I suspected, the restaurant looked like a modern taqueria. Bonus points for the food being cheap ($5 a street taco) and not taking long to make, which was what I was going for.

I strolled in around 2pm. The place wasn't busy, however guests started rolling in after me.

The restaurant had more options that I thought! They not only served tacos, but they also offered gorditas, sopas, flautas, etc. I also saw that they had an all-day breakfast menu, which I appreciated since I love breakfast for lunch or dinner.

I initially went in for tacos, but I ended up gravitating toward the flautas. The plate came with two flautas that were topped with fresh shredded lettuce, crumbled cotija cheese, drizzles of sour cream, and sliced avocado. I got pollo, which tasted like chicken tinga to me. The chicken was really tasty and flavorful. Borderline a little on the salty side, but I still enjoyed it. The flauta shells were thinner than what I'm used to, so I found that they broke apart and got soggy way too easily. That being said, I still really enjoyed the food and ate everything.

Overall customer service was fine. The food came out in a timely manner, and I appreciated that the main cook came to check on me to see how I was...
