Really bad experience at lunch on 3/27/2019. A co-worker and I decided to go here for lunch because we do love the menu but this day was terrible. We were on lunch so we had limited time but we arrived during the day when business was super slow for this restaurant around 2:30 pm, more tables were available than filled. We sat for longer than usual before someone came to get our drink order. I had water, my co-worker orange juice and we ordered the Fondue Can-Cun as an appetizer. The fondue came to the table in a reasonable amount of time and we placed our food order. I ordered the Salmon Tehuacan that was supposed to be salmon in a sauce (salmon filet, grilled & topped with a spicy caper, pepper & onion sauce. Served with rice and grilled vegetables $17.95) My coworker ordered the GUISO DE RES Beef tip stew, served with rice & beans $14.95. So we ate our fondue, ran out of bread, our waiter brought us more bread at one point but at this time we didn't need anymore fondue, we needed our food order to come out. So we ask and were told it should be out shortly. Then we sat and waited some more and finally some guy other that our waiter came up and asked us what we had ordered. I was like I have the salmon and she has the beef tips but now at this point we have to go! I'm pretty sure nobody put our order in because we had to wait again. Our waiter came up finally and asked if everything was okay and. No. At this point we had to ask him to put our meals in a to-go bag. We also asked him to split our checks up separately. Turns out, that orange juice was $5 each, no free refills, and he put one of them on my check when I just had water. So then he has to fix the check. But instead he comes back to our table and says here let me just give you $5 out of my pocket so I don't have to cancel this ticket. So we leave with our food we just spent a good deal of money on and left to get back to work. Of course I wanted to at least try the salmon I just spent $18 on so I take it out and guess what?!?! No plastic ware. Are you kidding me?? You just ruined our lunch and don't even put utensils in so we can eat it when we get back to work. Also, my Salmon didn't have a sauce on it as described in the description on the menu. Instead it had a mix of red and green peppers and onions, like what you would get with fajitas. My co-worker opens her box with the beef tips and gravy only to find the "gravy" was actually just grease! She just happens to be pregnant so the fondue didn't last long as the site of the grease made her sick. So she didn't get to have any of her meal. Fish is hard to heat up after it's been cooked so I didn't get to enjoy my meal either. We spent a total of $60.35 for meals we didn't get to eat. I'm hoping someone can make this...
Read moreHI guys! Well, today we went to this place, and the place was very, very full but the reception of the staff was very warm and the service was excellent. It didn't take them just 3 minutes to give us our table, the waitress was super nice and friendly, while we decided what to order, We noticed that the customers at the table next to us were very arrogant with the waitress, who was the same one who served us, she never lost her composure and behaved very professionally and they were behaving like real jerks... please Guys, don't do that... especially when you're seeing that the waitress is trying to give you the best... well....We ordered and the dishes were brought to us quickly, I was very surprised by the good service, my husband ordered a mixed dish which he liked a lot and I ordered a chicken soup and green chicken enchiladas and I can't say that I didn't like it but I can't say that much which I loved, since the soup had no flavor and the enchiladas were stuffed with chicken with some seasoning and the cream that covered them...was... mm🙄 ok...in the end I think their specialty is seafood and maybe that's why my dishes weren't so good... so I'll go back to eat seafood and I'll tell you how it went, but in general I can tell you that I do recommend the place, because we spent that hour and a half there were people waiting there to enter it was very crowded...and not because I didn't like the food I chose, it means that all the food is bad...but because they have so many people...because something good It must have......
Read moreOriginal visit date: 6/5/2022, 2:30 pm. The atmosphere and building this restaurant is location I feel deserves some recognition: the dine-in experience is enhanced by the renovation of the place and you feel right at home inside. The bar appeared very modern and updated, but the restaurant is peppered with classic designs and furniture for an elegant finish. I can’t say enough to capture how beautiful it looks inside! The only reason(s) my rating wasn’t higher was (1) I hardly ever saw my waitress, even after requesting the check she was hard to flag down. Initially, I had to wait a while before she appeared, as a manager noticed that I didn’t have a drink on my table yet and apparently took pity on me. For the record, It was a busy Sunday, and the lobby appeared to be fully staffed, but still I didn’t get to interact with my server very much, and (2) the enchilada dinner I ordered was slightly incorrect (I ate it anyway) and the presentation really needs some work for this dish. The plate was sloppily put together, with too much cheddar cheese and sauce running together on the plate it didn’t look very appetizing. Taste was ok, but not sure if it is really worth $12.50. I wish I could award this restaurant with 5 stars, but even though service was less than ideal, I feel that I could be persuaded to try it one more time if I’m in the area again...
