We we so happy to have a Manny's in our neighborhood when they opened. Have been a frequent diner since day one, lot's of large group dinners, after soccer lunches and several to -go's Unfortunately we may have made our last visit last night. Website says they close at 11:00. No Covid hours mentioned, like several other restaurants do. Arrived at 9:00, chips and hot sauce hit the table quickly. Ordered a Manny's Uptown Queso. Took too long to get drink orders, tea arrived no sugar, no lemon, after several requests still no sugar or lemon. Flagged down a manager who seemed to be bothered by our late arrival. Wrong Queso delivered, when mentioned, no correct, waiter did not try to remedy situation. Tea never refilled, wrong order delivered to my son. Too much attitude of inconvenience by whole staff. Fajitas were just so so. We asked for corn tortillas, received them 25 minutes later while sweeping was moping was underway. Stacks of dirty dishes piled on end of table during entire time. Just a solid lack of attention by whole staff, even hostess seamed put out by our late arrival. We actually could not get out fast enough because we felt like we were such a bother. We were out the door by 10:00. I mentioned we should go to Papasitos but family was tired and did not want to drive a little further. We won't make that mistake again. A restaurant's main goal is to get the customer to come back period. The customer is the only reason your are here.. period. Needless to say, we won't be coming back to Manny's. Way to many restaurants that actually care about your business. Take a trip to Papasitos to see what customer...
Read moreVisited on a Friday for happy hour with a couple coworkers and my sister. We were seated right away away a table and chips and salsa were brought shortly after to each of us. We placed our drink orders, waters and a beverage, frozen mango margarita for me. As we waited for our last guest we talked over chips, salsa, and drinks. Once the final member came, we ordered the sunset queso and tableside gucamole. I've never had spicy queso but that sunset queso was absolutley amazing. I couldn't stop eating it. The gucamole was ok, needed some seasoning. After munching on chips and dips for about an hour, we finally ordered food, lol. I went with the half veggie quesadillas, my sister went with the veggie fajitas, my coworker ordered the full shrimp quesadillas, and my manager ordered spinach enchiladas, one with sunset queso. We also each ordered another drink. We all enjoyed our meals with the exception of the veggie fajitas lol. They were under seasoned. She asked for some Tajin and said that helped. My veggie quesadillas could've maybe used a little more seasoning but overall I was happy with my meal. Staff was nice and we had a good time. Glad we were able to get together and enjoy each...
Read moreWe had an awful experience at our last visit. We ordered our favorite dish, queso chorizo, and a new waiter didn't prepare it properly, and he brought this appetizer out after delivering our entrees. He lit it on fire directly in the center of our table rather than on a tray. It was awkward and hot, so we moved away from our table while he did it. Then he only lit it for a few seconds without mixing so it was not cooked. The manager on duty did not smile or apologize but seemed irritated and just asked if we wanted a replacement. She sent the same waiter to do it again. There was no time to train him properly of course He lit it longer the second time, but it was still on our table, and he didn't mix it and made a mess on our table as well. He then argued that he was doing it correctly. We decided against the dish altogether and just asked for our ticket. We were still charged for that dish that we didn't eat. We have been regulars here for 2 years and never had an experience like this. It was very disturbing that we were treated this way and left unhappy and disappointed in management. I didn't even finish my entree. I don't know that we will ever be...
