Ordered some food and apple juice for the kiddo, get to window, no apple juice with order despite having asked twice at the speaker. I figure no problem, I'll just give them my card and they can ring it up at the second window (like literally every other McDonald's I've been to that got my order wrong) and I'll just pull up to the numbered spots and wait for them To correct the mistake and let the rest of the line go, it's a manager so I assume he shouldn't have any problem handling such a small request, this location actually has a third window as well, but I guess it was inaccessible from inside as he told me to go back through the line to order the one apple juice thats literally sitting in a mini fridge 2ft away from him, and this would have be the first McDonald's I've seen that didnt have a register at every window. I would just like to know, what circumstances, aside from missing items like this situation or larger orders that take more time, are the third drive thru window (or the numbered parking spots for that matter) used for? From my POV, it seems like I was rushed away from the window so my order could be cleared, and the avg. serve time wouldnt be affected, which doesn't make much sense seeing as going to a numbered spot would get me away from the window just the same, which leads me to believe their must be some sort of disability the young man is afflicted by that prevents him from being able to swipe a card and walk 10ft (and the speaker lady from being able to hear correctly), and if that's the case, then I apologize for the inconvenience, I just think the drive thru service time should reflect the actual time the customer spent being served in the drive thru. I may be in the minority here, but going though the drive thru twice isnt exactly what I would call 'convenient' in the traditional sense. Perhaps for the workers its convenient, as my gf had the same experience at that location days earlier, company policy perhaps? All I know is it took longer as I'd misplaced my card between orders and only had small change to pay with. I just wonder, had I gone into the store and not noticed til I recieved my order that I was missing an apple juice, would I have been asked to exit the building, enter my vehicle, put on my seat belt then immediately take off my seat belt, reenter the store, retake that part of my order that they didnt hear? Or would I have been able to take my order at the counter...
Read moreIf you go through the reviews, they speak for themselves. I should have paid attention before going to this specific McDonald’s. This is a drive through only with a window for people to walk up and pick up mobile orders from. I recommend going to the one off Forest and Plano Rd. Much better service from there.
I made my order and when I went to the window they told me to pull around to a designated parking spot (for pickup) because the car in front of me had a big order. So instead of making the vehicle with the large order park, they had me - a double cheeseburger and McChicken order - park instead.
After 20 minutes and seeing three cars go through the drive through, I walked up to the window and asked for my order. After knocking on the window, I was greeted with, who I presume, was a disgruntled manager. I’ve been in the food industry so I can understand the frustration that she could have been going through. When I asked for my order, her response was brash and unacceptable.
“We were wondering who’s order that I was.”
“I was parked..”
“We didn’t know where you were and couldn’t find you”, she quickly interjected.
“I was parked where your employee told me to park. But it’s cool.”
I grabbed my order and left. For clarity. I was parked facing the drive thru with my window down and lights on (it was night time) and can clearly see them and vice versa. Nobody came out looking for me or made an attempt to.
This place has unacceptable service and needs a service restructuring as quickly...
Read moreIve been coming here since I moved here. It started out pretty nice, but honestly became worse and worse due to customer service. During the morning the workers send everyone to the third window, even if you have to put up your window and wait at the second one temporarily. Once at the third you end up waiting an extra 10 - 15 minutes. Mind you I didn’t even mention the wait to get to the second window and AT the second window. I always either something I didn’t ask for, no service for 10 plus minutes, or I’m missing something all together. I understand things get busy and hectic but this is almost every visit to this establishment. Asked for a fried apple pie and received a regular, I asked for a large fry and got a medium, asked for a basket of fries and got two large fries, asked for a 4 piece and forgot it all together, they “weren’t doing shakes” but once my bf ordered only they did them, missing BURGER, and don’t even get me started on the employees. I’ve worked in fast food so I know the frustration and I know the people in the area kind of suck but not all of them are like that and it is unfair to treat the nice ones rude. I had an employee cut me off numerous times, not even letting me get my order in, to the point I had to just pull up and order at the last window because they didn’t even show their face at the first window. Disgusting, unprofessional, and rude. This is the closest establishment to me and I now go to a farther one just for good service, the correct order, and...
