I ORDERED THIS PIZZA DIRECTLY FROM PRIMO BROTHERS. THE KITCHEN AND DRIVER MISHANDLED MY ENTIRE ORDER.

My first time experience with Primo Brothers, was well below satisfactory. I ordered a supreme pizza, a Stromboli and two desserts for delivery. The delivery time was pretty good. When it arrived, half of the pizza toppings were not on the pizza. One side was literally bare apart from a bit of cheese and nibble of other toppings scattered about and along the perimeter. My first instinct was disgust - it looked like the toppings were PICKED OFF. I thought out the repercussions of this for the Restaurant and decided to call them. Perhaps, I thought, the topping were just skewed to one side (due to mishandling of the order). Note: I tipped the guy like $10 total. I spent about $48. When I called the restaurant, the lady was fairly friendly and mentioned that they would remake the pizza. She also unveiled that they actually gave me a Calzone, instead of a Stromboli and they planned to redeliver anyway… WEIRD. When were they going to call to tell me this…? This was the strangest pizza delivery experience I’ve every had. Another thing that stuck out to me is - WHILE DOORDASH DID NOT DELIVER MY ORDER, An Internal Driver of Primo Brothers did —- She deflected their error by mentioning that she has gotten calls from customers saying that Doordash would deliver pizza with missing slices….
Naturally, this brought to mind - “Why doesn’t this restaurant invest in safety seals???” I REALLY QUESTION THE Sanitization and handling standards of this restaurant.
I am trying my darnest to believe that my pizza wasn’t messed with hence why I didn’t really eat the first one. (the lady on the phone said he had been with company for 20 years and just would not do that and the driver seemed sweet enough when I met him at the door, however, I only left like a $2 tip on my card and gave him $8 in cash at the door, so who knows.)
To top it off, the pizza wasn’t good. The doe was chewy, the cheese was cheap and plastic like and the meat especially the pepperoni was flavorless. The Calazone and Stromboli were also virtually flavorless as well.
You’ll have to try it to get what I mean. The desserts...
Read moreAlthough I can not say everything was bad, the majority of our order was very disappointing. I was sick today so we ordered out. We had received a menu from here in the mail and decided to try it. The sum of our order with a tip was $50 and the amount of food we got was a rip off compared to the places we normally order from. I got the Greek salad with chicken, it came in a container the size of a side salad. When I put it on a plate it was pretty much all lettuce, with 3 slices of tomatoes, about the same amount of cucumbers, some onion, and a few olive slices. If I wanted a plate of lettuce, I would have went in my fridge. My husbands wings were over cooked and dry and my daughter ordered the cannelloni and it was extremely small. After eating we all had to make ourselves more to eat, everyone was still hungry (and no we are not big people, my daughter is a toothpick). On a positive note, my older son ordered a couple slices of pizza and said it was ok and the younger son did love the calzone, but all in all, it was a huge disappointing waste of money. There are too many other restaurants around that are cheaper and give you better tasting food and more food then you can even eat. We don't eat out often, so I really felt like a huge chunk of money was wasted. I will not recommend any of my friends, family , or neighbors this restaurant, and if they do decide to go there, out of 5 different meals we ordered, I can only suggest the calzone, because my 11yr old said it was good.
One other positive note, the girl answering the phone and the delivery driver were very polite and professional, no problem with the service we received. It was also delivered in a timely manner. (Hence the 2 stars I did give the...
Read moreExtremely disappointed with what was once a staple for us. We ordered our usual sausage pizza tonight that we specifically order from them because the sausage is so good- and unlike any other pizza place in Dallas. It came with a completely different (and gross) sausage. I called and asked if our order was wrong only to be informed that the sausage they are using is "what was delivered and not what they ordered. It was just what the delivery company had available so they were stuck with it". When I expressed my frustration, I was coddled like a toddler instead of any attempt to make it right. I even offered to drive back up there after I paid for delivery and a tip.
They should adjust their menu and/or set those expectations. I would not have ordered 50 dollars worth of food had I known things had changed. There is something extra frustrating about a super long day where you order pizza to make life easier, only to realize it is not at all what you want. Wasting the money isn't fun either.
The manager admitted that they too get upset when that is the sausage that is delivered. The impression the manager gave me was "we get what we get so our customers do too" along with "I understand". No thanks, Primo Brothers. There are a gazillion pizza places in this area.
Edited post reply from the restaurant. Please note, supply chain is the culprit. Poor management experience (also noted in other reviews) was not addressed. I love supporting local but not when management is below expectations. It would have been very simple to make this right. I would be happy to give constructive feedback...
