Sunday drive thru. We do not have a Williams Chicken where we moved to. We were out of town and passing by decided to stop. The chicken and corn fritters and fries were fresh. Fries no flavor!!! The mash potatoes had an odd bad flavor. The main problem was how they charge us. I ordered 20pc mix, think it was 36.99 I asked if it came with 2 sides. She said yes and X amount rolls. I ordered 4 total sides. When I looked at he reciept she charged the 20pc and 4 individual sides plus jalapeños. I went in and asked why she charged me for the 2 sides. She explains now that I owe her more money. The combo with 3 sides is 59.99 plus the 1 more side. I explained I do not owe anything due to her charging me for the 4 sides already. Went back and forth. She just said never mind to me owning them but they don't owe me. As she walked to the front I was trying to get my food. She persisted to take it to my husband waiting in the car who is driving.... why give it to him? I need to put it where I want. Get home, which is an hour away and do not have our jalepenos. Not sure if they was an accident or they earned their couple bucks back that I was not paying. Will not be back. Disappointed!!!! There is location in Dallas that we absolutely loved. This is the second time that I went to this restaurant to buy an entree and THIS is the second time that I was overcharged for a menu item that I didn't request on my ATM card. Because of Covid regulations, this restaurant doesn't allow people to place food orders inside the property. This location only allows drive-thru and an outside pickup window. You can't see what the employees there input into the cash register if you're outside or using the drive-thru. If they made a credit/debit purchase error, they would need to void it right away, and rerun the card. But in this scenario, a employee (OJ) gives you a cash refund in order to fix the overcharge mistake. When this happened to me months ago, OJ explained the situation and gave me $3 dollars cash back because of that cash register "mistake". But today, it happened again, in the exact same way, by the same guy; OJ. Here is the picture of the receipt in the attachment. I've made visits to this restaurant for a year now and the employees there, never make a credit overcharge mistake. But this guy though... Makes you really think if this harmless mistake is...
Read moreI've been frequenting this location for a few years now. It's one of the few locations that still had good chicken. They've changed ownership and it's noticeable.
You can't order at the drive through menu you have to order at the window which is fine but it does increase wait times. The lady who helped me was ok. Although, they have green beans on the menu they didn't have any available. I'm not sure if that was just today or in general. Based on the way she answered I think it's in general.
I ordered three piece chicken all thighs, mashed potatoes with gravy, a pepper and three rolls. The chicken was good well and was juicy but had NO seasoning. Same with the mashed potatoes. The bread was a typical no thrills white roll but it was the best thing. Three lady told me it was $10 but only charged me $9.68. Not sure what that was about.
