Mezcal Sports Bar — Restaurant in Dallas

The first couple of times we have gone there the food was really good. This last visit the place was almost empty of customers. But it's a Tuesday afternoon and it is a sports bar. The wife and l kind of picky when it comes to salsa at a Mexican restaurant. If a Mexican restaurant can serve a decent salsa you my not want to order. We both like it hot we tried it it was lacking a kick because it had no cilantro in it. The wife had the three items taco with ground beef enchilada and a chili rellenos and I had a Carne asada she said hers was really good I was disappointed in the Carne asada it was just flank steak onions and tomatoes no bell peppers the Spanish rice was not real fresh and...

Just leaving a place across town that was too packed for our comfort. The quality and the quantity explains the emptiness. You can see in the picture from what we're saying about the food it could have been a little bit more tasted a little bit better. But the margarita was good I got a double. I love this place! Each and every person working there seems to love their job, which is refreshing. They go above and beyond, friendy and funny, the food is great and the drinks, oh, there's no words for the drinks. The best way I can describe the Lemon Drops at Mezcal are: Heaven in a glass. I took a sip and tears of joy rolled down my face. Thinking of that beautiful drink even now I feel the need to cry. I guess I will have to drive there right now and wait for them to open up. That...
