The people at the Old Mill Feed & Garden are wonderful; knowledgeable, helpful & friendly. They go above and beyond the generally expected , and listen to their customers - well, because they are nice, AND so they can better understand what you and your pet/livestock/garden actually need to help with whatever they need, to be the best they can be. I have only good things to say about them, and I have been going to them for my critters needs for over 20 years - even before they were the 'Old Mill Feed & Garden' housed in that wonderful, historical, 100+ year old mill building. I am also grateful to them for saving so much of that building. I really have only good things to say about the Old Mill Feed & Garden's owners, the people who work there & treat me like family, the supplies they carry & the services they provide. Feeds and seeds, plants, pots, soil, bark, compost and tools; gifts for children and adult and a large assortment of foods, treats and needs for pets of all sizes. If you are here at the right time of year you can bring your children or grandkids to see and hold baby chicks. They will even let you buy some and take them home to raise. If you decide to try that, the Mill has all you need to be a back-yard farmer. The people here are great. Friendly, helpful, courteous and always with a smile. The staff is very knowledgeable about the different types of feed they sell and can help recommend something for you if you aren't exactly sure what your new animal might need. They not only carry all types of your basic livestock feeds but they carry a lot of different bird feeds and exotics as well as a many smaller pet supplies as well.
It's really a great place to stop by and spend some time just wondering around to see what they might have and who may show up you know. In the spring they have nice started garden plants and flowers to browse through. And they always have different types of bark dust and such to spruce up...
