Was craving a donut ice cream sandwich and was surprised they had a Milk Cream in Dallas! Went with my fiancée to get my ice cream and donut fix. I got a nut butter glazed bun with a cinnamon toast crunch topping. My fiancée got the nut butter ice cream itself. The nut butter was a surefire winner. When we both tried it (they allow samples!), I knew I found the flavor I was going to get. My only qualm with this place is the cost. $6+ is a pretty steep price for an ice cream donut sandwich. I joked that I could probably get a pint of ice cream and a donut for the same price. 1 scoop of ice cream wasn't super cheap either at around $4. Ultimately, it is a novelty thing and the ice cream itself was definitely worth it. One thing I would say as an aside is in my experience eating both halves of the milk bun with the ice cream makes the donut flavor overpowering and I cannot taste the ice cream. I prefer eating the sandwich as an open sandwich, one half at a time. It makes the flavor profile much more balanced imo but I'm also a bigger fan of the ice cream...
Read moreCame in last week wasn’t greeted then was skipped over in the line to help the people all the way behind me. Clearly no one was in front of me and me and my daughter was just standing in line. When I brought it to the lady attention that “hey, I’m next” she looked and so no someone else is helping you. The other worker responded and said no I’m still gathering the previous customers orders. After she quickly made the ice cream rang me up and walked off before my transaction was completed with my credit card. But she was ever so pleasant to the guest behind me. My thing is I try not to complain but I’m getting so tired of being treated different bc of the color of my skin. We can say “oh that’s not the case” but clearly the guests in front and behind me received exceptional service. While I was overlooked and argued with about rather I was next or not. Then no even thanked after spending 15 dollars on 3 cups of ice cream. Bc of this I will never be back one bad worker can leave a lifetime of...
Read moreI love the concept! The service was great and the server even explained how to order since it was my first time. I got the glazed donut sandwich ($6) and the donut was not sweet like I thought, which was great, since it cut the sweetness of the ice cream. There was not a lot of cereal on my sandwich, just enough to add some texture. The ice cream flavors were hit and miss for me, but I was able to try a few and ended up on the cereal milk flavor and I loved it! I did not get a water since it was $3 (just being honest, that's a bit too expensive for something God gives us for free hahaha) but once I got to eating, I knew I had messed up and was in need of water. If you don't have any in your car, just spend the extra money because you will want a drink.
The prices are fair and there is quite a bit of parking, but because of the location it was filled almost completely and we came on a...
