Ok, that was unexpectedly good!! We were looking for a place for dinner in Oak Cliff, just couldn't face the traffic to get to any of the places we frequent outside the neighborhood. I had seen the article in the neighborhood Advocate mag, sounded like an interesting place, so we tried it, and were not disappointed! We got the "cup and char," pepperoni pizza with mascarpone, or was it ricotta?, dollops, and it was a really great upgrade on plan pepperoni. But even better was the Bahn Mi pizza! Which, when I read the article, I thought I'll never try that, that's just not right for pizza. I've never actually tried a banh mi sandwich. I do love Vietnamese food, don't eat it that often, but I like it. This banh mi topping is REALLY delicious, and the crust, which I realize I haven't yet mentioned, but the crust is super great and if this is what a banh mi is like then I've been missing out!! Service was friendly, there are multiple other pizza options I will have the opportunity to try though I may not get to those options as fast because I'm going to want banh...

The pizzas here remind me of the fresh baked pizzas they serve on Friday nights at Eatzis. Fresh ingredients, a similar crust to Eatzi’s, and the pizzas are offered in predetermined flavors as they are at Etzis yet, unlike Eatzi’s, you can add or omit ingredients. The pizza are big enough to split and a large meal for one with 6 foldable slices. But the thing that I was most impressed with was the tastiness of the cauliflower crust. My husband had the standard crust and I think they are fairly well matched In deliciousness. If the gluten were not an issue, I believe I would still go with the cauliflower crust. I got the basil Pesto Cream pizza and my husband got the simple pepperoni. The pepperoni pizza was solid and the sausage on the basil pesto pizza just the right amount of spice to add interest and flavor. The flavors of that pizza were well matched and the zucchini, which I don’t usually care much for, was a nice addition and didn’t taste as expected. If you haven’t been, you’ve got to go. An important addition to the Oak Cliff...

My family and I stopped here on the way to an outing at the Dallas Zoo. My wife’s a vegetarian and she got the Bahn Mi pizza without meat and it was unbelievable. I got the Cup & Char which is basically a pepperoni pizza with flair and it was great too. We got the kids a cheese pizza which was perfect. The interior is simple, clean, and has a very cool vibe that speaks low key comfort & class. The back door opens to a long deck that spans the entire shopping center which provided a cool area for our three kids to hang out and explore while we were finishing up. I will definitely be back and look forward to trying some of the other pizzas. The owner, Alex, came to our table and introduced himself and was friendly, funny and nice, and throughout our meal we could see him diligently making pizzas with his crew in the kitchen (kind of an open kitchen concept). A real gem in the Bishop Arts / Davis...

I went here on opening day and ordered the plain cheese, sausage with friends, and the pesto. We got our seat and watched as they got really busy. It took a long time to get our pizza but it was OK because it was opening night and they got really busy. I'm glad to see them busy! I must say the pizza was very good. The sauce to cheese ratio was great but it was all about the crust! I'm picky with pizza as I grew up in New York and Jersey but this was actually really good! The crust on the bottom could have been a little bit thicker, but overall I was happy to finally have a good pie in my neighborhood. Never had dough fermented for 72 hours but it was slightly crispy and airy and brought out some great flavor. Yes, there are some kinks to sort out being brand new but they will figure it out. I highly recommend and I'll definitely be back for my pizza cravings!

I’m typing in all caps!! THE BEST PIZZA IN DALLAS. Period. No questions. We have been everywhere in Dallas. The crust is the star! We don’t like doughy crust, we like a thin crust that shines with the costar toppings. The cup and char and margarita are our favorites. We eat here every week for date night. I bring my dog the ends that I don’t eat and even he goes insane. The staff is so friendly and are why we go back. We call this our “ Cheers”— the quality of the ingredients is everything to me. I never feel “full” from crust, but full from the whole thing. I’m a female and my husband I eat two pizzas and sometimes will order a third on super hungry night. We finally found our PIZZA PLACE. Please don’t leave- Tam

Ok first off, the interior and vibe of this place is perfect. I was in Seoul for the whole month of October and upon entering here it felt like I was in S. Korea again. The cashier was awesome and friendly, very accommodating with our personal pizza request. Ordered the Cut and Char, crust was very satisfying and the dough definitely had that NY style texture and taste..but I may just order a regular cheese next time as the curl pepperoni made the pizza extra greasy. Also ordered a Banh Mi as that is the most popular pizza here but haven't tried yet. I'm hoping for a pizza with some sweet potato mousse in the future!
