New York Bakery & Korean Rice Cake — Restaurant in Dallas

THIS IS NOT A CAFE!!! I was told to leave this bakery out of no where by their new worker. As a black person I couldn't help but think this was racially motivated :(

I have been going here since March 2023 once a week as I have my work nearby and would buy coffee and baked goods until I was recently kicked out. They told me this wasn’t a cafe and that it was a wholesale store all of a sudden this September 2023. They stated I couldn’t seat anymore and that they have always been a wholesale store and not a coffee shop/cafe. I was shock as they have never said this for months but all of a sudden the new worker tells me to leave and that I can’t seat anymore. As a black person I felt bad as they were chairs and other people seat there all time.

Why sell all types of coffee and baked goods and have lots of chairs/cushions to seat then say you are not a bakery? Especially months after!!

I definitely won’t be coming back and won’t be spending my money...

I am a huge fan of korean bakery. My fav is 단 팥 빵. In my recent purchase , i noticed the red beans they used to fill the 빵, has red bean skin( which sholud be extracted) i am certain the owners r using the skin to keep the cost down, but it doesnt taste good at all. U can feel the roughness in the fillings (which should be soft n skin free) have a moderate increase in price vs downgrading the taste. I wouldnt mind paying more for it. At this rate ( filling w skin) i would not make future purchases...

Korean classic bakery with broad selection of Korean rice cake. It tastes good and price is reasonable. there is also buy one get one free section for older stock(daily?). They also carry some of coffee and drink. It's comfortable place to buy some of classic Korean style bread with coffee and spend some time to chat with friends in there. store owner is also...
