Avoid this bakery at all costs! The owner of the bakery had a bad attitude from the start, and when I asked how much the bread was (using company funds), she told me the price. I had an unexpected issue and accidentally knocked over a tray of bread. As I was ready to pay she then accused me of intentionally throwing the bread when I accidentally dropped it. She only charged me for 6 pieces, but her condescending tone and repeated accusations were unacceptable. When I tried to explain it was an accident. She gestured towards her “no service” poster as I said, “That's fine, you can refuse service, but please refund my money and I'll go elsewhere.” She then threatened to call the police. I replied, “Go ahead and call the police.” She put the phone down . She claimed that my accidentally knocking over the tray was putting her business at risk, and she was charging me $6 for the “damaged”bread. I pointed out that this was not a valid reason for her business to be in jeopardy. She then mentioned having cameras, but I clarified that the issue was not about the cameras or the money , I have no problem paying the damaged, but rather the way she was accusing me of intentionally throwing the bread, using her own words against her. That I wanted to make it clear that the incident was an accident, not intentional. As I was leaving, she threatened that if I came back and knocked over the bread again, she would charge me for everything. I assured her that there wouldn't be a next time and that our company will no longer be patronizing this bakery twice a week. If she threatens to call the cops on someone again, she should be aware that I have relatives who are familiar with the Dallas PD in this area. Dealing with such a toxic and uncooperative owner isn't worth the emotional energy. *** I left the bakery after paying a total of $20 in cash, but I only received 9 pieces of bread. I'm certain she overcharged me by more than just $6, as the damage was only a few pieces of bread.

Bought two cakes there and will not ONLY use this bakery. The bread is delicious, too! Best bakery on this side of town!

If I could give zero stars I would. Me and my girlfriend saw this place and thought “oh a sweet treat would be nice.” We entered, we were not greeted. It took about 20 minutes for the owner to come out and say anything she just stared at us. We saw what we wanted and asked for the prices it seemed like she did not want to be here when she gave us her respond with a side of attitude. I had asked if we did something wrong. She just kept eyeing us down. Finally my girlfriend said something because it was upsetting her and she said “I don’t serve your kind.” We both looked at one another in disbelief. I don’t understand how people can be so rude. I was waiting to be called a slur after that but we just left. I would not recommend this place if you are just going to go in and just get attitude for...

DO NOT EAT HERE!!!!! I was walking down Jefferson with my mom and aunt, we looked into the window at the display, and just as my aunt said the bread looked good we saw a small rotten running all over the bread. I went inside to tell them and the mouse ran across the floor. The girl simply called out for her mom, which I'm guessing is the owner. And I walked out. I can only think about mouse droppings in the bread! I wish I could have taken a picture but my phone was dead. Please go...
