Shake Shack Dallas, Preston Royal — Restaurant in Dallas

First time here and I have to say that the food was fresh and tasted great. Also ordered the salted caramel chocolate shake, which was good but mostly tasted like a chocolate shake. I would’ve given more stars, but the 2 people at the register had bad attitudes. The first one was annoyed the whole time, and I am a customer that tries to not take long to order, but it was our first time; so I had a couple questions like if lettuce and tomato comes on the burgers. That apparently made her even more annoyed. Her tone was rude and sent off vibes that she just didn’t want us there. I did not tip since you order at the register, pick up your food at the register and clean up your table afterwards… So, I’m guessing that was also part of the attitude. It’s also pretty expensive for what we ordered which was the chicken avocado burger, an avocado burger, one order of regular fries, one lemonade, one tea, and one shake for about $45.00. We ordered a shake after our meal, and there was a different lady at the register this time. She said nothing at all. Just stood there annoyed when she finally decided to come over to put in the order. She made the shake and put it on the counter and immediately walked off. I said thank you, and she did not even say anything or acknowledge us. Very bad vibes. Very bad attitudes. I will probably go to another shake shack in hopes for better attitudes and not come back to...

I tried the Veggie Shack Burger (added Crispy Shallots). They forgot the shallots, but gave me some on the side to add myself. No biggie. What IS a big deal though... upon arriving there were only 2 parties already dining in... myself and another party walked in together. The customers before me ordered to-go, but I decided to dine-in. They weren't busy at all and never came out to clean the dining area thee entire time I was there. It was only 2 other dine-in customers that came in after me and a few others were pick-up orders. I had wipes so cleaned my own area, but this should always be one of the top focuses along with customer service & taste. The Veggie Shack Burger was pretty good, but I like the Shroom Shack Burger better. The Cherry Hibiscus Summerade was more tart than sweet. All that piled up trash was there when I got there so I had to go to the other trash bin to empty my tray. Customer service was ok, but I probably won't come back to...

An upscaled mature In-N-Out. The crinkle fries are better and the burgers have brioche buns. The stand out burgers that i love are the Link Burger that uses sausage from Dallas own Pecan Lodge and the Shroomstack where the patty is a juicy portobello mushroom. Any other burger really just reminded me of In-N-Out with using brioche buns, the flavor of the meat is that familiar.

I tried the Black and White Malted Shake and it was great. The menu and prices really makes this fancy restaurant that focuses on the almighty burger. I dont think your bank account would appreciate you frequenting this place regularly as one can any fast-food restaurant. Thats ok though because i do enjoy coming here on a seldom cheat day.
