I'm giving 3 stars not because of the beer, (the beer is AMAZING!) but because of an experience we had a few weeks ago. My husband, father in law, and I walked in to have a few beers and hang out because my father in law was visiting us from out of town and had never been before. Obviously we take him to the best brewery to show him a good time! However, they were having a crawfish boil that was apparently a "closed event" that you had to purchase tickets for. They didn't have any signs up saying they were closed, so we just walk in. We go to the bar and I ask for a beer and was told to show proof I was part of the event. We were not, so we were rushed out and told to leave. Not a big deal, but the attitude was a little bit unnecessary. After we walk out, someone runs over and closes a big gate behind us. An hour later I check Facebook and what do I see? A post from TAP saying that their taproom is now open to the public.....well why didn't the lady behind the bar tell us that?? We would have waited around for it to be re-opened for sure, but instead we were run off. I will obviously be back because I LOVE the beer, but was definitely disappointed with the vibe of...

The location and outdoor aspect of Texas Ale project is great. The staff is also very friendly. However, I wasn't a big fan of the beer selection. It very well could have been the wrong time of year for me personally to come. There were no pils, hefs, or stouts on tap. Mostly IPAs, their signature amber ale, a golden ale, and seltzers. As there is Ale in its name, I understand that there would be a lot of ales in their repertoire. It's been a few years since I've last been and there appears to be more variety on their website, so I chalk it up as bad timing for my visit. I also didn't ask if they had the other options in cans available, so not asking was on me. It was still a lovely couple of hours I spent there with friends, having a couple of beers...

Ideal event space! This place was great for a recent party. We had about 20 attendees but the tap room could easily fit up to 60. Kris Patrick, the Event Manager, arranged for four long tables to be set up with black tablecloths so we could bring in our own decor, food, etc. The reservation fee was by far the best value I found while searching around, and Kris was very responsive over email and phone. Parking was easy and everyone had a...

I’d had one of the flagship FireAnt Funeral many times so had to get out to the brewery. The bartender was great and helpful on my first visit, but I just wasn’t blown away by the beer. Everything I had was solid, but nothing stood out as remarkable. I also would’ve liked a little more variety on tap. Ultimately I’m not going to stop buying their beer and I will give a second visit, but hoping to see more variety next time

Super chill environment to meet friends to have a beer. Friday night was not busy at all, food is served by an outside vendor- no heathy options. The beer as fresh and cold - the butterfly bush are the biggest I have ever seen. Ever. Plenty of seating. There were families, singles, couples and dogs present to enjoy the atmosphere, beer and space. Corn hull also offered.
