06/08/2024 after extremely long work hours until 3am, I went to this location, and it was very busy. After being blocked in the drive through line for 15, I pulled up to be told that there was a 24-minute wait for 3 legs w/fries. Instead of waiting, I chose what was up which was a breast and thigh. After waiting on my meal, the server discovered that the manager had given my food away to the panhandle that was asking the walk-up customers for food.
I had not eaten all day, so I decided to wait for the three legs that I originally asked for because 10 of the 24 minutes had passed. I asked the young lady was there a price difference and she said no. When the manager brought my order, it was the breast and thigh. I advised him that my order was in correct and that I had asked for my original order since I had to wait the 24 minutes (that felt like 24 hours).
Instead of righting the second wrong, he chose to go around with me in circles about an up charge. I was exhausted and simply asked for a refund since this experience was now going on an hour. Read moreOut of all the Williams Chicken restaurants in my surrounding area this is my most definitely go place to eat from. I always make the extra drive to this location. They always serve me up properly and friendly. There is this one individual in the Drive-Thru that always takes care of me no matter what. I don't know his name at this moment but he always has great customer service with a smile. No matter what he always layers the gravy in my mashed potatoes. Other employees however are not so friendly and always want to charge extra for 2 seconds of extra work. Regardless it will never keep me from returning for their great food. The other Williams Chicken locations that are closer to me charge more for the exact same thing that I purchase at the Illinois location.
