I work late on Friday, so for the last two Friday’s I have bought Zaxby’s for dinner. On both visits, the drive thru line was wrapped around the building, so I decided to order on the app instead. The first time I ordered, my food was supposed to be ready at 7:47pm. I ordered at 7:30. I walked in at 7:47, but I was never acknowledged from the staff. Finally, at 8:08pm, I asked where was my order? I finally get it at 8:13, and without even a simple apology. Tonight, I order on the app again, and it’s supposed to be ready at 6:38pm. I send my son in to get the food at 6:37, but he returns telling me that the doors are locked. Now, I realize that there is a shortage of employees, so I wasn’t upset. I drove to the other side, and asked one of the young ladies in the drive thru window, how could I pick up my online order? She tells me that I can meet her at the window. As I’m waiting, a different young lady comes to the window, and asks me what am I waiting for? I tell her that I am ready to pick up my food. She proceeds to tell me that “The dining room is closed.” I said “I know but you just told me that I can meet you at the window.” She says “I didn’t tell you that,” and turns around to ask who did? Eventually they bring me my food, but the young lady had the nastiest look on her face. Listen, although those young ladies could have handled me better, I do not blame them for tonight. I am upset with Zaxby’s. If your stores are closing at random times, and are choosing when they are and aren’t going to open the dining room, Zaxby’s should block app/online orders. I’ve been sitting in the parking lot, writing this review, and my son has counted over 30 people who have been turned around at the door. I know that many of which are from Uber Eats, and DoorDash. It’s just sad that more isn’t being done to help out. The lack of employees is not from a lack of sales. If it’s monetary related, shame on this franchise owner. I won’t be back until I see consistently shorter drive thru lines. I refuse to order on the app again, as an attempt to avoid conflict. If you’re seeing this, just go across the street to Chic-Fil-A. They have Chicken strips, a smile, and they take care of...
Read moreI recently moved out to Dallas and have been a zaxbys addict for about a decade. I even got a part time job at one in Marietta last year, and kept the job for about 8 months. Before moving out here I lived near 2 zaxbys and would frequently go to both. I've been to numerous locations forna decade, and have worked at one. To say this location is a disappointment would be an understatement. The owner seems to mostly only respond to good reviews with no real concern in the responses to the bad ratings. That and the food shows how much he/she cares. My first experience I ordered a Kickin Chicken and received a boneless wing as one of my "tenders". I do not like the boneless wings and it didnt even fit on the sandwich. Two other times I got only two tenders on my kickin chicken. Almost every time the fries look as though they've been sitting awhile, so I tried to go during busier times for fresher food. Slight improvement. And this last time (today) the fries and chicken are absolutely rancid because of the repulsive oil being used. Do y'all at LEAST filter it? Like...maybe once a week even? Complete waste of money as I took maybe 4 bites and couldn't stomach it anymore, spit the last bite out. I can't believe I got this from a zaxbys. I cant stand a business with careless owners but a zaxbys? How saddening. The only thing I've ever gotten that had NO issues was a caesar salad. So, there's that..I'm one to give benefit of the doubt, even multiple times, but now I just doubt this...
Read moreIf it wasn't for the fries, I would've gave them a 1 star rating. Let's be clear and straight to the point, do not go to this store after 9 pm because for some strange reason, the employees think their off duty and start to lounge and have no common courtesy for customers time. If it's 9 pm and the store closes at 10 or 10:30 pm, then you could lounge or have side conversations once you've locked the doors to the restaurant but during business hours, I should not have to wait over 15 to 20 mins both in drive-thru and inside the store for 2 basket of fries and yet along other customers shouldn't have to be in drive thru for more than 20 mins long for food and still being charged because of the laziness of the employees which is totally unacceptable. And if i didn't mention, if you have an estimate of 12 to 15 employees in the store around 9 pm, 5 to 7 of the employees should not be in a huddled area by the bathrooms to have conversations while you have 1 or 2 employees at the cashiers line and window running around asking for help and the remaining employees in the back cooking being very rude and attitudinal towards them because their asking for help. Management needs to have an undercover customer, manager from another location to see how this location is and report directly on the same day or regional manager on site to make...
