Red Lobster — Restaurant in Dalton

Went there today with my family to enjoy a nice meal but was very disappointed I got the sirloin with broccoli and fries my husband got the fish and chips with a baked potato and my son got popcorn shrimp kids meal with fries and I ordered my steak medium well and it was done and every piece of food we had was extremely salty my husband could only eat the inside of his potato because the rest of it was dry and old tasting he took one bite of his coleslaw and spit it out into the napkin because it was the most disgusting coleslaw he ever had The fries was not that appetizing at all The only good part about the meal is probably the biscuits And when my husband was going to ask the waitress for either ketchup or some type of sauce other than tartar because he don't like that with his fish we could not find our waitress she disappeared I went to the front to find a manager to complain and the one took my receipt and was going to come back with my waitress to pay at the table and when I got my bill it was over $55 how ridiculous for gross food so when my waitress finally came to my table I told her I had complaints so she went and found the manager and I complained to the manager about the food which they were nice and friendly and all but I still was charged almost $30 they were trying to make it up to us by letting us get something else to eat and I told them that my appetite was ruined by what I was served that I would just like to leave because I've wasted enough of my time there so I had to end up paying the $30 for gross food and I had a $50 gift card so I just tipped the rest to the waitress because I wasn't worried about it cuz like I stated I wasted enough time there even though she was nice and friendly and got what we needed in the beginning but toward the end of my dine in experience she was nowhere to be found so the only reason I'm leaving a two-star is because the staff...

Would not ever go back to this one! Didn't even stay for my meal. Walk in hostess no where to be found so I walked over to bartender said excuse me mam is ok to sit at the bar she turns and looks at me and says ya not sure or absolutely just a ya. Now mind you this is a older woman not a young person you would more expect from. So we sit at the bar she walked past us 2/3 times finally I said can we get some water. Now they weren't busy at all. She had a few dirty tables so I guess to her talking to the guys at the he bar and walking slowly everywhere grab a few dishes was more important than two customers.well she brings us out waters and walks away again at this point I'm like forget it let's go somewhere else!!! Now I'm a server been in the industry for 27 years and I assure you customer always comes first and most of the time you try to one stop shop meaning drinks orders all at once. Then guess what that gives you time to do what you need to. Now had they been busy I get it taking a minute but mam you rather walk around trying to look cute talking to the men guess trying hard for that tip but had you showed us the same attention you would have gotten more than 20% out of me with half the effort. So I came in for my birthday - my boyfriend and I spent the weekend traveling and I haven’t eaten at red lobster since I was a child. The restaurant had a decent rating so I figured why not! I really wanted to have the Endless Shrimp option since I’m a huge seafood lover. But that was my mistake, the meal was horrible and I left with a stomach ache from all of the grease. I ordered the fried shrimp to start and the pictures below show what I was brought - greasy and soggy and not crisp and cold and falling apart shrimp. It was a busy night so I thought “no big deal - it’s unlimited so I’ll ask for a re-fire since these have probably been sitting out”. But wait - the second photo is how the next batch came out. The waiter himself apologized saying “I have no idea why the shrimp is coming out like this - I’m so sorry” But the issue was everything was lackluster. The scampi was oily, the skewers were unseasoned, and the grilled shrimp were bland too. I had to stop eating because I started getting a stomachache from all the grease.
