I order through the drive thru almost once a week here. We love the food, it's always fresh and great! However, I almost always have something missing from my order by the time I get home. I don't call and complain, because I feel like I should have checked my bag before I left (this shouldn't be the case in the service industry, but that's reality). Tonight, I went by there on my way home from work, and I immediately hear misery in a girl's voice on the other end of the drive-thru speaker. My first thought was "how can someone work in the service industry with such a bad attitude?" When I got to the window, I met the lady on the other end of that speaker, and her attitude was no different. I never got a "Thank you," or a "You're welcome," or an "I'm sorry," but I did get many slams of the drive thru window without any response from her at all. With what seemed like a snarl on her face the whole time, she made me feel like I was scum for being in her presence. The only things I asked her for were 1. My drinks to be made with no ice (I apologized for not saying that when I was ordering, and thanked her with a second apology when she handed them to me) and 2. For the teriyaki sauce that I've been told is SUPPOSED to come with the teriyaki chicken, but wasn't in the bag. Both times, she didn't say a single word. She just opened the window with her snarl and shut it back following my request. I have never had such a terrible experience at ANY restaurant, including fast food. I've been in the service industry since I was 17 years old, and I would NEVER treat a customer that way, nor would I ever be expected to be hired in a service position of any sort. When I called to speak to a manager, I started by telling her that I had just left, and the lady (I told her her name) at the drive thru was incredibly rude. Her response was "I'm so sorry ma'am, I will talk to her." I don't expect anything free or any kind of sympathetic apology, but what exactly is that manager going to talk to her about? Just that "someone said she was rude?" She didn't ask any details of my experience or seem to care that one of the few people working there that is actually dealing with customers face to face is not treating the customers with any respect. I'm not sure why I would have deserved to be treated totally unwanted in a place that should be trying to continue earning...
Read moreWhen traveling thru Northern GA, I stop at this exit due to a wide selection of restaurants. I eat at Panda Express when I want to pretend to eat healthier. Majority of the time, the proteins are not overcooked, and are flavorful with lots of sauce. They love the cabbage and celery, so be aware this filler is in practically everything. After years of stopping here for dinner, I'd estimate you'll get about a 75% chance the chow mein noodles will be dry. Half the time the vegetables are overcooked (not a wok sear, but soggy). If in drive thru, tie the top of your bag or prepare for a mess. The containers do not seal and sauce will be everywhere. Also, the napkin is tiny (fork/napkin combo). The bathrooms are large, handicapable approved and clean. Be aware there is only one handicapable parking spot. All other parking spots are a tight squeeze even for those without medical equipment. There is a pet friendly patio. No animals inside except service dogs (no ESA). All employees follow COVID...
Read moreThe food is good but the service needs work I have gone in there for them in the past 3 weeks twice and both times I have either been missing something from my order or it's messed up in some way today the same thing happened and as the times before I went back only this time when I went back the the teenager that was as a shift manager for the evening actually accused me of trying to get free food. Because apparently this complaint comes up and they believe it's people attempting to get free food I work very hard all week for me to try and get free food that's kind of what I work for is to put food on the table for my family so as I've said the service needs work she mentioned how this happens often which only makes me think maybe just maybe the service has something to do with it. I live 2 minutes from Chatsworth I'm 20 minutes from Panda. It kind of sucks to go there twice to get one meal then to lose your appetite because someone can't do...
