The Oyster Pub & Grill — Restaurant in Dalton

Me, my husband, and my son couldn't be thankful enough to have found this place! We drive OTR and trying to make it home in time for thanksgiving with the family. We weren't showing to get home till about 10 tonight so we figured we might as well find somewhere to eat us a Thanksgiving meal since we weren't making it home. So we chose cracker barrel. We walked to the door and they said it would be an hour wait so of course we are ready to get home and we wasn't waiting around that long, we've been from near waycross georgia to mardela springs Maryland to cadiz Kentucky to redding California and we are just ready to grab something to get back to waycross ga!! Anyways as we were walking back to our truck across the road we seen the open sign for The Oyster. We were hesitant at 1st because we have our 13 yr old boy and it was a bar we wasn't sure if they allowed children. There was a gentleman outside that assured us that we were welcome and that they just so happened to be serving free Thanksgiving meals! WOW! It was a total blessing! The food was amazing! We really are so appreciative!!! Bless you owners...

Don’t order to go unless you check your food. I kept hearing how great their food was, so I had someone bring me food. I asked for 12 wings, all flats. The waitress said she couldn’t guarantee anything but would put it in. The food got to my house, and there were three flats in the entire set of 12. If I had known that, I would’ve never ordered the wings. I only eat flats, so I didn’t get dinner last night. I’ll either never get wings from there again (my first experience ever getting food from there), or I’ll never eat there period.. giving 2 stars bc the flavor on my 3 flats was pretty good and so were the corn nuggets... but wasting my money is enough to not make me want to order from...

Right up front- it a divey* bar-ish pad off Walnut in Dalton

And- NO OYSTERS. (Insert emoji). was v v disappointed as I missed my dose. The fried shrimp and green beans came in alright.

Certainly v cool was the friendly energetic bartender, forget her name ;) STAFF TRULY OUTSTANDING

The tastiness, flavors, and staffs' hard work gets thrown out the windows, w the filthy cigarette smoke stench overhang, sadly :(

They'd be doin themselves a huge service if they cordoned off part of their expansive pad for Non-smokers; Do everyone a favor and leave the immediate bar area smoke free. I prob. wont go back due to cig issues
