I’ve never left a review at a McDonald’s because it fast food and sometimes things happen. Upon looking online it seems this is a reoccurring problem so I decided to post this. I hope corporate sees this or management above cares because the remodel is great but with poor service and attitude this will affect business and revenue. I went inside and the place was almost empty, maybe 3-5 separate customers sitting down, it was veryyyy slow. And the drive through was a normal paced. I go to the register and wait, and wait, and wait. 3 minutes go by, then 5, then 7, mind you as this is happening, employees are clearing servicing drive thru and walking in and out of the lobby calling orders etc. and walking past me and now, 4 separate customers ALL waiting in line. I was getting very boiled, it’s not even like they were running around with crazy orders at drive thru, all casually walking around. Mind you, yes customers were also coming in using the Kiosk self service. At this point I get pissed after 10 (I myself can’t believe I waited 10 minutes) before going to the window where people pick their food up and ask them “can we get some front register service, you see us waiting” and the plus sized Hispanic women simply says “registers not open, use the Kiosk” I’m livid. I step back to not cause a scene, where the next customer says “I don’t use card, I only have cash” and the woman sends what I believe is an employee who’s in charge of cleaning (they were wearing neon vests) she takes the man’s order, I get back in line and then the plus sized woman says “okay I’ll take your order” How funny the register suddenly works now. It was deforest a moment of “we don’t want to service customers coming in, we just want to focus on drive thru and they can use self service kiosks” but the kiosks can’t tell them of a cheese/dairy allergy or to make the food “cook to order special request” etc. the store wasn’t even busy for them to do this. And based off the google reviews and yelp this has been happening for a while, I’m guess towards night shift. The employees started speaking Spanish and I responded back with “you know we understand you being disrespectful to customers” I got my food almost 30 minutes later after this ordeal. I left. This was such a horrible experience on poor management so this is why I’m leaving this review. So unfortunate. I can only imagine! The amount of money they’ve lost the company doing this to be lazy. I’ve actually been going to this McDonald’s since I was a child. unfortunately, today, I did not have a good experience. I ordered a mocha on the app with no whip cream with two shots. I received the item through the drive-through and I noticed there was whip cream on my beverage. I told the worker that this is not how I wanted it prepared and he showed his frustration. He told me to wait at the next window without giving me an estimated wait time. So I decided to park and walk in the restaurant. As I walked in, saw someone with my drink and he handed it to me. I looked inside and there was no chocolate sauce on my mocha again. I specifically asked for a small double shot mocha with no whip cream so I was satisfied, I walked to the counter and asked to speak to a manager so I can get a refund, the manager came to me, and right away there was a language barrier. so I told him I ordered the item through the app and I would like a refund because I was not satisfied that my drink was made incorrectly twice. He then tried to give me $3.15 back and I told him that I paid over five dollars for the drink because of the double shot, so he corrected that and asked me to slide my card. Earlier I had told him I purchased it through my app. He then looked frustrated because it seemed like he did not know how to reimburse my money. He spoke to one of the other workers in Spanish and he ended up giving it to me in cash. What I didn’t appreciate was that they were speaking Spanish, not just themselves, but to the Customer next to me and giggled, mind you, I was not being rude at all, but a slight bit frustrated because I had to keep repeating myself. This is not the first time I’ve complained about this particular McDonald’s, especially when They get your order wrong to get upset and irritated like it was your fault. Read moreThere has been issues at this place both from the staff and the customers. There is always an order that is wrong. My husband usually get the food at McDonald's and this is a place he no longer goes to because there is always an issue with the order. Today I decided to go for the benefit of the doubt.
The latest order... my family can't have cheese due to allergy so I asked for two big mac's without cheese. The receipt didn't address the no cheese so I reminded the person behind the counter which was acknowledged it was forgotten and communication was passed on to the kitchen staff to make sure there is no cheese. When we received the order, I open the first burger before we left the store and found no cheese. When we got home, the second big mac had cheese at the bottom layer of the burger. We had to toss that meat away since the cheese melted on the meat.
There was drink issue. When I took a sip of the Sweetened Ice Tea, it tasted like sugar syrup and got sugar high from it. On top of that, the lids on our sodas were the wrong lids. The drink spilled when the cup was angled to drink out of it. I thought maybe the lid was open, but it wasn't. Instead the lid for the large coffee was put on the large cup of soda. Same size but wrong fitting which caused the spill. Go figure!
Now for the customer during this visit. With the short staff everywhere, a customer should be understanding when you see the people behind the counter busy packing food. Granted the staff see the customers waiting to give their order, the staff behind the counter should acknowledge something like "we'll be right with you", but let it that it may... the customer needs to be patient. You see the staff trying to get all the previous order placed to be packed and ready. My husband mentioned, "yes, some of the customers there are rude."
