
UPDATE I come to Outback for celebrating anniversaries. it was Tuesday evening around 6PM. we didn't need to wait a single minute. a server came to our table quite fair enough. the server was nice and decent. deserves 🌟 I ordered seared ahi for appetizer. tasty and just right position. sause, creamy ginger soy sauce tasted great with ahi, deserves 🌟 main dish I ordered was sirloin steak with backed potato and grilled asparagus. steak was tender and juicy at same time. tasty and simply yummy. deserves 🌟🌟 I had a bad experience last time I went there last time which kept me away from this Outback but this time made up something for me. I definitely come back for any occasion.
first of all, I do love outback. second, it was Sunday evening so I expected it would be busy but surprisingly was not. well, I should say the house was full. a couple of big groups. so, I really pay attentions to clock how long every single one takes time to get our table. seated, literally less than 1 min. someone came to take our order 15 mins. first drink came 7 mins. my partner got his drink 4 mins. his soup came 2 mins. my ahi appetizer is out, noticed 2 mins (at this point, 30 mins left) heard the server's excuse 2 mins (he really explained why he wasn't noticed it's out got 15 mins) my appetizer came 6 mins. (at this point, I was sooo-what-eveeeer mood. even I thought I would stop clocking but I continued) food came 6 mins. goooosh! how long they need the time to serve a table? I got towering beer-battered onion ring filet. it was really good. juicy. very good. I didn't like the sauce they put tho. and it was cold 4 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟. service is waaay too slow. 1 🌟. well, it was got an anniversary dinner. I should avoid there, potentially-maybe-busy or I should say I know the service there is really slow each time I go there but tonight was extremely slow. deserve 1.5 🌟 but no half star here so give you 2 🌟 🌟 my partner said "they renovated whole inside but they should get rid of all servers instead."...
Read moreWent here on February 20th to celebrate my daughters 14th birthday. My server was horrible. The waitress name was Maggie. It took her 20 minutes to finally ask us if we were ready to order. I ordered coffee, water and a porterhouse steak, my daughter ordered a ribeye, my wife ordered filet mignon with lobster tail. A friend joined us shortly after we ordered. I pressed the button to call my waitress. She never came. When she was nearby I motioned to her, she walked over and I asked for ketchup and napkins. Maggie never returned with anything. Our food came and we were never given any utencils; forks, knives and napkins. I asked a young asian man for utencils when he brought over my friends steak. He said, "You don't have any?" My wife replied, We dont have knives, forks or napkins. The young man immediately gathered a tray of everything we needed. The young asian man and the food was the only thing good about the experience.
I cant believe the lack of service by the waitress Maggie. As she walked by I asked her for more coffee, she grabbed my cup and disappeared for 5 mins. Returned with my coffee but at this point, the way we were treated by her I wasnt going to drink the coffee. I felt she may have spit in it.
I thanked the young asian man for grabbing the forks, knives and napkins and shook his hand with cash in my palm to show my appreciation.
I will never go back here. I believe in tipping above 30 percent but in this case the lack of service was so blatant. I felt the young man was the only deserving person.
Maggie can kiss my ass. I've worked at a restaurant as a young adult. And understood customer service and being attentive is part of the experience. If you visit this place, make sure your waitress...
Read moreThis was our first time at this location and our server was a ROCKSTAR! Tara/ Tarah excuse me if my spelling is wrong. But she was just overall amazing, we never had an empty glass on our table, when we were close to being done with our drinks she was already bringing more out! There was a little accident and somehow our order didn’t get sent thru to the kitchen and Tarah was so sweet to come and let us know that happened, she came and quickly to took our order again and assured us she would hook us up with some kind of discount for any inconvenience which she totally didn’t have to do but she went above and beyond to discount our appetizers and our dessert!! Which we were totally ready to pay for everything we ordered regardless if our order accidentally didn’t get sent thru to the kitchen. She was so attentive, funny, sweet and hardworking! Beyond helping us she had more tables and she was constantly running out to clean the tables that were left dirty, bringing dishes back and wiping other tables down! She seriously deserves employee of the year! We’d def come back to this outback just to have Tarah as our server again! Also a little tip for those of you who leave tips on credit cards, usually when that happens the server no long receives the full tip your adding to your card, it ends up being taxed and thats just not fair.
