The woman working at the pickup counter (she had braids, silver hoop earrings, and visible tattoos) responded with a lot of attitude, saying, “We’re not supposed to put that much milk.” I offered to pay for the extra milk, trying to be understanding, but she repeated, again with an attitude, that she didn’t care and would add it, but “we’re not supposed to put that much.”
I then asked her what I should do in the future, and she told me, again with attitude, “Order a latte.” I didn’t feel the need to explain my health situation, but I can’t have espresso, which is why I ordered an iced coffee in the first place. I just prefer my coffee on the lighter side, and I didn’t think this small request would turn into such an issue.
To make matters worse, after our conversation, she started talking about me to her coworker right in front of me, which was extremely unprofessional and uncomfortable.
I understand store policies, but the way this situation was handled felt unnecessarily rude and dismissive. I hope management addresses how customer concerns are handled...
Read moreHaving previously been a mall employee for several years, I’ve seen many iterations of the Starbucks at Danbury Fair. While I love the change from “coffee stand” to “physical store,” both the size and staffing of this location make its atmosphere and service fall short.
Located on the upper level, the store is honestly smaller than most stand-alone Starbucks. While seating is provided here, I think the idea was that most people would mobile order and be on their way. Unfortunately, given the volume of Danbury Fair, especially on the weekends, the size of this Starbucks leaves you feeling cramped, often waiting forever for your beverage.
While the baristas here are nice, the store often feels dirty. I’ve often come to find trash overflowing, a less than clean floor, and wrappers tossed about. And in reality, it’s a shame that in a mall that’s doing fairly well, there aren’t other options to meet your coffee needs...
Read moreI am very disappointed in this Starbucks and that's hard for me. When I came in I didn't know where the line started or ended, there are no ropes. I asked for a bacon, egg and white cheddar and toasted vanilla oat milk espresso. On the way out after getting my order, I grabbed some napkins. The garbage was overflowing and hasn't been taken out in several hours. It was only 3:30pm! I got back to my car he as I ate my sandwich noticed it had no cheese. The drink was under sweetened. At this point I wasn't going to return. But I will write a review and I hope Starbucks reads this and works on doing this better. I spend quite a bit for quality when I go and don't expect...
