Taichi Bubble Tea, Ramen and Poke Bowl - Danbury — Restaurant in Danbury

I tried Taichi for the first time this weekend and overall, I was pretty happy with my experience!

One of the nicer restaurants in the food court in terms of aesthetics, I was pleasantly surprised by the food selection here. They have a wide variety of milk and bubble teas, ramen, and rice bowls, and even have a few resin examples on display to give you an idea of what you’re ordering.

Speaking of ordering, the restaurant itself is quite small and I was a tad confused on exactly how to order. They have two computer kiosks, various order sheets, and a counter person—all of which with no order or distinct instructions.

Regardless, I ordered a Coconut Milk Tea and a Roasted Pork Rice Bowl. For both, it was about $18.

The milk tea had a great flavor—a nice mixture between coconut shavings and almost condensed milk. I ordered the tea without the tapioca pearls and was disappointed that they were still included. The lady behind the counter was apologetic and offered to remake it, but I didn’t want to be wasteful. I could live with a few pearls.

The rice bowl was also pretty good. The roasted pork comes with marinated meat, steamed white rice, Lima beans, and grape tomatoes.

Personally, I would have loved more of the sauce throughout the bowl, as opposed to just on the pork. The pork was juicy, but tasted dare I say, almost “wet.” Overall, the flavors were good and I even had enough for leftovers.

While I can’t speak to service times on a “busy” day, if you’re looking for a different meal option while visiting this mall, definitely...

ordered online at it was ready with 15min. the spot was clean and well organized. i got a salmon poke bowl and it wasn’t even $13. that is a good price compared to other places around. everything i got in the bowl was fresh and tasty. definitely going back. they just opened so cut them some slack, feel like the other reviews are a bit harsh. i loved it!

update: i work in the mall so i have been a few times now for lunch. they are training new staff so it is still a bit slow, but the food is so good it’s worth the wait. i will say do a poke bowl over a burrito, you get way more in the bowl for...

Messaged the company MANY times regarding my complaint . Never messaged me back once! So now I’m going public. I loved Taichi and was getting it a TON! But the last time put an ill taste in my mouth, I received my food , and THERE WAS A BANDAID IN IT . Not to mention a piece of a sponge was also in my bowl prior to this occasion . I went and told management and they didn’t care a single bit . So I emailed , not one word back. They don’t care for the satisfactory for their customers !!
