I have never felt so disrespected or been treated as rudely by someone who claimed to be a manager in my life. I just left the drive through at the Danville, Ky. Dairy Queen. Before I gave my order I innocently asked if soft drinks were still 1.00. If they were not then that would have changed what my two choices were going to be. By the way the girl answered me I think she thought I was trying to call them out for charging 2.00 through the 2 for 4 deal. I was definitely not doing that, I was simply asking to know if I should order the Pepsi through the deal or by itself. I feel that innocent question is what laid the groundwork down for my ordeal that played out. I attempted to order the 2 for 4 treat deal but the girl attempting to take my order could not understand my order and after I had given the corrected order for the third time a manager came on and sounded disgusted with me. She said the girl I was speaking with was training and she asked what I wanted. I proceeded for the fourth time (I kid you not) to attempt to order. After I gave my order the manager said in what I perceived as an angry tone “pull around”. Her tone of voice just went all through me and I said no just forget it I’m canceling my order. She said okay thank you in a smart Alec tone (at least to me it was) I’m sure she and everyone else there will tell you a completely different side of this story. I stopped at the window and a young girl opened the window. She was wearing a mask but I could tell by the expression of her eyes that she was ready for a fight. I didn’t give her the opportunity to be any more ruder than I felt she had already been. I said are you a manager and she said yes I am. I then asked her name and she very proudly said Skyler. I feel she heard how many times I was attempting to order and she kept hearing the trainee repeat each time something totally different from what I was saying. It almost seemed like to me they were trying to annoy me. I wish whoever is over Skyler could have heard this as it was playing out. Read moreI went tonight after leaving my kids doctor's because there wasn't any one there at all. The drive thru girl got the order wrong. Then after paying she handed me a number and asked me to park and they would bring out our food. I asked how long as we all were sick and didn't feel like waiting and didn't understand why we was asked when it was a empty place. Honestly they should tell us before if we will have to wait I would have had them to cancel and went else where. The girl said she didn't know. I pulled around and as people started to come they was parked as well 12 cars. I ordered at 7:03 pm I didn't leave there till almost 8 pm. My food was wrong, cold and then I had to go in and reorder my oldest daughter's food and wait for it as well. I'm a understanding person and normally patient as I know how things can go. I wasted almost $44 on food that got fed to my dog and had to go buy more food for my family as I have covid, strep and Pneumonia. The Manager was very rude acting and didn't even apologize to me or any if the others that had came in for their food. The girl in the drive thru was also rude and kept giving me nasty looks. There was a boy named Aidan that brought me our food and he went beyond expectations, he had offered to go in and put the order in for my daughter and pay with my debit card but I was just not comfortable sending my debit card in. Aidan was also the only employee that apologized for the almost hour wait for our food and that it was cold. Very nice kid. I think it will definitely be a long time before we eat there again and maybe some training on how to stay on task, and get people their food in a timely mano. I would love for district manager to pull video and find out why there was a hour wait for food that was empty when we went through drive thru. If not them maybe ones above them changes need to be made to this Restaurant and the manager that was there needs training on manors. Aiden did tell me who the manager was she was right behind him and heard what I asked and never once turned around to speak to me I wasn't being rude, ugly or disrespectful. Read moreOrdered a biscuits and gravy and sausage biscuit. when I handed them my card it took awhile and one employee said sorry we are having trouble with the machine then stood there looking worried. Somebody else come to the card machine did something and said it's not working he then tells me it's not working and asked if I had cash I did so I handed to him. I felt he was acting wierd so I checked my bank online it showed the amount was taken off my card. I then showed this to him and the lady that come to help rudely says it will be 2 days and it will back on my card. I say that's kinda weird you took the money but needed cash as well so she did something and the rude defensive vibe she was putting out made me not trust her. so I checked my bank again and now it say I've been charged twice for breakfast and paid in cash so i payed 3 times for my breakfast. She then tells me to come inside i do so and she proceeds to start yelling from across the room like it was my fault or something. I'm just trying figure out why I've been charged three times for breakfast she then wont talk to me. This grown woman is ignoring me a paying customer when I was told to come inside. The whole situation was utterly ridiculous. Nothing is being accomplished so I go get the food from the truck and bring it in to return it. I've completely lost my appetite and really dont want any of my money going to this establishment after the treatment i recieved. one employee comes out and nicly saying "i think this is just as crazy as you i just wanna warn ya she called the cops on you" I'm like what for this person decided rather then deal with her mistake she would call cops to deal with her own ignorance. I did end up getting a refund for the cash i paid but as of now my bank account has been charge twice for food I dont have. I will not be returning or recommending this dairy queen establishment anytime in the future this was the most ridiculous experience I've every...
