Fazoli's — Restaurant in Danville

Let me start this review by saying that I love Fazoli's food. And I always enjoy eating inside at this Fazoli's in Danville.

With that being said, their take out is a JOKE!! If I order more than two entrees, I can always guarantee that my order will be wrong. An entree will be missing. Or replaced with something else. Or, on the rare occasion that I do get everything as I ordered it, I still spend 30+ minutes waiting in the drive thru.

My most recent trip to Danville Fazoli's resulted in sheer disappointment. I placed an order online, arrived a few minutes prior to my scheduled pick up time, and only had to wait a few minutes to get my order, which was delivered in nicely sealed bags. Once I arrived home and broke the seals, however, I discovered that I had been shorted an entree. Upon calling the store, I was directed to the voice mail after a lengthy hold. My second call got me an employee who said I could come pick up my missing entree. I asked to speak to a manager, and finally gave up waiting, as they simply laid the phone on the counter and went back to work. Upon arriving and notifying staff about my missing food, they promptly ordered kitchen staff to make my food, and offered a free large beverage while I waited. As I waited, however, I began to understand why my orders get messed up. Apparently, the kitchen staff enjoys throwing pasta at each other, and generally goofing off instead of working. Point taken, I will NOT be eating at this...

This Fazoli’s is the best in the business. As a local truck driver to Danville, I could choose anywhere I want to stop and eat lunch. At least 3 times a week my self with another fellow co worker will stop to eat at the fazolis in Danville. Soon as you enter the first face you meet most of the time is mrs. Mary. She is so sweet and always ask how we are and how my new baby girl is doin! Always has a smile and a very sincere thank you for coming in. If you need the manager for anything while your there, his name is Brian. He will literally do what he can to make sure you are taken care of or just pop out to say hello. For the most part he is makeing sure the kitchen is rolling and even putting the dishes together himself. Watch for the swinging door to the left cause you might see a lady by the name of kaylee S hustle out the door to get the drive thru order out to a waiting customer. She is always very friendly and always smiling. Danville fazolis. I’ll leave you with this. Y’all are all awesome and keep up the good work. Sometime people may complain that y’all are slow or whatever but that’s only because y’all are normally slammed with a line in the drive thru and a packed out lobby and dining area.

Excellent and amazing service delivered by Joshua, an outstanding and superb employee deserving of commendations and a raise. The food was delicious and the overall experience was at a higher level of standards that I've come to expect from this Fazolis locations, in no small part this is due to the experience delivered by the employee Joshua who carries himself with a mastery of his craft, exemplary service skills, an infectious positive attitude that makes you smile and want to return for another meal. I've been at this Fazolis before and noticed a drastic difference in performance when Joshua isn't working there, typically the service is slower, the atmosphere is dense and unwelcoming, and the restaurant is quite dirty. The food likewise just doesn't taste as good. Experience is everything, if a guest experience isn't superb then the food, no matter how delicious, will suffer...
