I arrived at about 7:30pm on 02/01/2025. There was a vehicle in front of us in line, which then moved forward so we were the only car in both lanes at the speaker. The lady on the speaker told us to give her a minute, multiple times before taking two other vehicle orders before ours, which weren't previously there. Okay, that's fine. We pull up to the side of the drive thru, where there are two cars in front of us in line. One is at the second window where you receive your food, and the second car is directly in front of us at the first window where you pay. We wait a couple minutes when we realize that there is no car in front of the vehicle at the first window. They should have been able to pay by now, as it's been about 5 minutes since they've been at the pay window and there are 0 cars in the drive thru in front of them. We decide to just sit there and wait until we realize that it's been about 13 minutes since we've been waiting for the car in front of us, at the pay window, to move forward. Now, I'm not a temper person. I just needed to leave soon because I had a babysitting gig at 8:00pm and I can't be late for that. We both decide to call inside to see if there's an issue and if I need to cancel my order. We call inside, a girl picks up and we explain our issue to them that we don't know what's going on, and she hangs up. We decide to wit 2-3 more minutes and a girl (assumingly the girl who we spoke to on the phone) sticks her head out of the drive-thru window and hands the man (car in front of us) his money/card. I don't understand why it took 14 minutes total to complete that single transaction. I completely understand that there are possibilities that they might be training or something like that, but there was atleast 6 people working inside. 14 minutes is a little overkill. We pull up after the customer in front of us receives his money/card, pay, and grab our food. Low and behold, the food was cold and my ice cream was...

Read moreupdate 4/24. Was excited about the bagel's return. Burnt! (see pic) Dangit!!! I told assistant mgr the next day, and he shrugged me off like I just want free food. BOGUS! FREE FOOD COMES WITH FILLING OUT THE SURVEY ON THE RECEIPT! A SIMPLE APOLOGY AND ACTION TO KEEP BURNT FOOD FROM BEING SERVED IS ALL I WANTED. I CAN AFFORD FOOD YOUNG MAN! Why would the employee even put the sandwich together, seeing it was that black?!?! Let down by this location once again! Fill out your surveys people. Whether good service or bad and hopefully we'll get better all around service, and you can give the free sandwich away to someone in need or save it for later.
Update. Still nothing good. Got fries without salt because of previous experience. As far as the sandwich goes, a Picture is worth 1000 words (see 5000 words of pictures posted). Got spicy deluxe crispy chicken. Was literally thrown together. Unfortunately, the left over, unexpected salad left in sandwich box was not appealing, thus, I have no words...
Umm, mom said if you can't say nothing good, don't say nothing at all. So I have little to say. The fries are good when they aren't over-salted(rare). I wish someone would train them all how to salt fries correctly. Crew needs to learn what excellence and a sense of urgency is in a fast food environment, and that goes for all the McDonalds in the area. When they get it right (30% of the time) its good! Like Forrest Gump said, "that's all I have to say about that." p.s. They act like some things are rocket science and too hard to do or cant be done, i.e. I ask for a breakfast burrito w/o sausage(cutting down on pork) they say it cant be done, but how hard is it to take burrito, slap a pc of cheese and a premade scrambled egg on and wrap it up? Guess I'm a genius and so is the McD's lady in Champaign who did it w/o a...
