Taco Bell Cantina — Restaurant in Danville

This location has the Cantina experience, with alcohol available for purchase at a separate area, which includes an indoor/outdoor bar, with outdoor bar seating for about eight, with barstools.

There's plenty of outdoor seating in a fenced area for eating or drinking, and a lounging area with two gas fire pits, and cushy seating for eight. There are some outlets near that seating if you need to charge up. There are also four overhead radiant heaters for cooler evenings. The entire patio area is nicely sheltered by several mature shade trees.

For outdoor entertainment, you have your choice of an oversized connect four game, two sets of cornhole boards (much closer than regulation distance), and several TVs displaying live sports channels.

They had some pop music playing during our visit, which was louder inside than out, but not too loud to talk over outside.

Ordering was easy, with a self serve kiosk. There are two sets of ordering kiosks, one set at the main entrance, and one near the outdoor area entrance.

Regular menu pricing seemed to be pretty typical, but the drinks are pretty steep, at $5 for a can of domestic beer, and around $8 for a mixed frozen drink. Fountain drinks and tea are self serve.

There are several all gender restrooms, with a hand washing area outside the restrooms.

I want to start out by saying I love Taco Bell cantina, so much so I drove from Pittsburg to come eat here at 11:30pm. First problem: I tried to order online at 11 and it wouldn’t let me (online ordering is supposed to close at 11:30 according to Taco Bell employees). Second: they advertise that they take EBT. They do not. It wouldn’t work after multiple swipes regardless of having more than enough to pay for my $30 order. Third: the employee refused to honor my reward from the app (I have been able to redeem rewards in person before) and said since I didn’t order on the app, he couldn’t give it to me. Lastly: I went to the kiosk and typed in my order at 11:36p, paid, was asked if I wanted my receipt (unfortunately, I said “no”) and went to wait for my food. 5 minutes past and I get summoned to the front to “pay for my order”, BUT I JUST DID. It’s on my bank statement and everything. Then they try to double charge me. Absolutely infuriating. We left and I BETTER get my refund. I will NEVER come here again and honestly wouldn’t recommend that...

Outside during good weather this is the nicest taco bell I've ever seen. I visited at night while it was raining. Inside is a very standard taco bell. Ordering is done through kiosks. I like this because I can see pictures of all items and choose what to subtract or add to them. There is a bar where you can order drinks (including an alcoholic baja blast slushy), but while we were the my friend and I waited at the counter for 10 minutes while tender made three other drinks and disappeared so we gave up. There was a mistake with my order but it was fixed very quickly. Overall, if you go for taco bell you will get exactly what you would expect from any taco bell.
