I’m not usually one to complain or post about things like this but there is absolute unprofessionalism happening at the Wendy’s in Danville, Ky. My boyfriend and I decided to pick up a side hustle doing door dash to make some extra cash. We picked up two orders from there today. The first one we did was for myself before we started working. I wanted to get an ice coffee. When we asked the girl working the speaker for the coffee she proceeded to say “i don’t know you might get one. i had this boy make me one and it took him 30 minutes to make it.” we just ignored it and continued to the first window. There was a young lady working who looked to be around 15-16 years old. We asked to make sure they had put the extra vanilla in the iced coffee, she proceed to tell us that didn’t get added which is fine, everyone forgets things here and there. After saying that, i assume it was the manager who came up to talk to her. he was an older man, looked to be in his mid to late 30s. He starts rubbing her back, waist, and upper behind right in front of the open drive through window, which is extremely unprofessional PDA in a workplace. Not to mention, she appeared to be a minor. This was already enough to make me want to say something, but i held my tongue and prayed to God she just appeared younger than she was. After about 10 minutes we got our order and continued working. The second time we had to pick up an order was around 11:10pm, it states on their website as well as posted on their door that they’re open until 12pm. We pull up to the speaker to tell them we are there to pick up this order. Nobody says anything.. we sit there for around 8-10 mins saying “hello”, “anyone there”. We started thinking maybe they’re closed, so we decided to pull around to the window to see if anyone was there. There was about 7 employees standing around doing nothing and one of them had a headset on. Meaning they were more than likely notified that we were at the speaker. We sat at the window waiting for an employee for about another 10 minutes so we could pick up this order. We clearly watched 2 separate employees look straight at us. No one came up until we honked the horn. When the young man came to the window, he acted annoyed like we had done something wrong. We told him we had a door dash for this person and he proceeded to bag it. Anyone who has ordered or worked for door dash knows they always put a sticker over the bag for sanitary reasons. He gave us the order, bag completely open. Which is not only unprofessional on their end, but also makes us as dashers look unprofessional as well. This was the worst experience I have ever had in any restaurant i’ve ever been too. It was completely unacceptable and not to mention very uncomfortable to experience. I’m not trying to be negative or extra about this situation, it was just completely unacceptable and people need...
Read moreWe quit coming here due to on multiple occasions it taking 45+ mins to get a curbside order. And that's not to mention missing items and cold food. Gave it a shot again recently, and it had improved. But now I'm writing this after sitting and waiting on an order for over 30 mins. Update: Went inside to see if our order was ready, and it was. It had obviously just been sitting out for some time. At this point I was informed by the cashier that "Next time you should just come in because we don't know what car to bring the food to." There are 3 curbside parking spaces... If you can't figure out which car out of 3 is waiting for their food... I responded "That defeats the purpose of curbside." I also contacted the manager, because I thought that this excuse was absurd. The appropriate response to a frustrated customer is "sorry for your wait and inconvenience, here's a Jr frosty" or whatever. Any sort of apology would have been better than blaming me for not just coming in. BUT. The manager also doubled down on it being MY FAULT that they didn't know when to bring the food out. The store was empty. We watch 4 people go on smoke breaks. 2 of the curbside parking spaces were taken by employees. There is literally no excuse besides negligent laziness as to why a car could sit in the only available curbside space and be completely ignored. "The computer doesn't tell us what car you drive or when you get here." Bull. I've picked up curbside a dozen times without issue here. This is a YOU problem. I can forgive bad employees, because they're bred by neglectful, lazy management. Anyways, we won't be...
Read moreAlways have loved Wendy's but won't be going back to this Danville location anytime soon. The person taking the order was not friendly...and I had to remind her to return my greeting. She seemed distracted and not very interested in getting my order straight...which prompted me to ask was there a problem. There were only five people in the restaurant dining area and my order took almost 10 - 15 minutes, maybe more, to set up...but there was a lot of chatter and joyful noises in the kitchen that got me wondering why couldn't that be displayed in getting my order straight? Anyway...my sandwich was very sloppily constructed and just simply visually, did not look appealing. The extra additions I requested were missing. The fries were good and hot. I decided to let my feelings about the sloppy sandwich slide as I knew I would write a review and the server didn't seem like she had a clue...my complaint/concerns would have gone over her head. It will be sometime, if ever, I go back to this WENDY'S. They need to grow up, get serious while being kitchen joyful, pay more attention to the construction and requests on their sandwiches and just simply portray more customer interest and...
