Okay, gotta update my opinion on Manci's.

First of all, I love the "burger and beer bar" atmosphere. (Reminds me of my college days).

However, I went in for lunch and the place was not busy... I took a seat, the waitress gave me a menu and brought me a beer, then basically "goasted" me. I watched her make the cardinal sins of waiting tables... waited on several tables at once, then went to take care of multiple things for the tables at one time. WORST POSSIBLE MOVE ANY WAITER/WAITRESS CAN MAKE. (When waiting on tables in a restaurant, you don't take the order for a table, then go to another to take their order too. You're making the customers at the previous table(s) wait extra time)

This waitress was more focused on trying to use her time so efficiently that she was wasting her customer's time. AND, her actions also backed up the orders in the kitchen.

Next, I ordered my burger medium well (I am not a fan of undercooked hamburger meat) and was cooked medium rare. I brought this to her attention, and she did apologize and offered to take the burger back and cook it some more, but trying to fix a screwed up meal just doesn't cut it with me. (I ate the burger, well, most of the burger) The fries were nearly burnt. Just a little bit too much past "crispy."

NOTE: I will go back. The place is usually pretty good. Today's experience was...

This past week, we went to the 11am mass, and afterwards, we decided to grab a bite of lunch. We had been to Manci's previously. It's a nice little home town bar and grill. They have a the bar area separated from the dining area, and for those adventurous, they have an outdoor seating area in front, facing Main Street. They were quite busy, and the 'Seat Yourself' sign was up, so we looked for an empty table. We noticed the doors to a 3rd area was open, asked the waitstaff where to sit, she indicated, "Anywhere"... so, we went in the other section and set down, and waited, and waited.. Eventlyally, I got up, went back to the main dining room, and asked a different wait staff if she was taking care of the section where my wife was setting.. Response.. Nope, that section is closed.. we put people in there because they are a large party, so, no, not serving that area. SO.. we moved to a table that the bus boy was cleaning up in the main dining.. lesson learned... We ordered our food, it was standard fare for bar / grill. Our waitress was working too many tables, running ragged. We enjoyed our meal, had a beer and Rita.. will be back, but, for us, it's just on...

First time here. Husband seen it on TV . Diners, drive-ins and dives . Must not be owned by same owners. Not same menu. I had a mushroom and Swiss burger. Weird that it came with bacon and horseradish sauce on it , with little amount of mushrooms ! Burger was overcooked and dry. I would’ve sent it back but never seen the waiter. Also had beer battered fries which had no beer batter taste !We sat outside . Was dropped off and never seen the waiter again ! I had to go inside to get napkins ,mayonnaise ,salt and pepper. We sat outside so when we were done ,we had to walk inside and paid the bartender . Then the waiter showed up , must’ve wanted his tip .My husband gave him a good tip because it was the right thing to do . Not that he should’ve got it though !! I don’t think will be back here . Bartender was the only hard worker running around that I seen . He’s the one that even brought our food out not our waiter . Pictures of decor inside and in the...

We were a little disappointed in the value for what we received. My son enjoyed his bacon cheese burger($14.75), but the kettle chips were not fresh and came straight from a bag. My husband enjoyed his pimento cheese BLT ($14). The bacon stayed crispy and had a good smoky flavor. The cole slaw had a taste of remoulade in the dressing. It was good, but the serving size was very small. I had the grilled shrimp poboy ($14). The shrimp were small and flavorless, and the poboy was only about 4 inches long. The best part was the fries. Overall, the restaurant has a really cool vibe, but the value isn’t there. I wouldn’t recommend the food, but go for a drink and live music.

Upon entering, I was charged an unexpected cover. I wasn't particularly pleased but made light of it with banter with the bouncer. I ordered a $10 top shelf margarita that was served in a plastic cup with no garnish. The taste was mediocre; nothing fancy, fresh squeezed or even slightly noteworthy. The wait staff; however, were on top of things and have apparently learned how to read lips to take orders because I know they couldn't have possibly heard an untterance of my voice over the intense sounds spurting forth from the extremely nearby Elvis inspired man band.
