After twenty years of coming to the same Wendy’s franchise, I’ve had enough. Consistent 20+ minute wait times in the Drive-Thru, employees with zero manners and work ethic, and managers who are well aware of the poor work environment that do nothing to change or better the workplace for themselves, their employees, and/or their customers. The number of times I’ve been handed incorrect food/been given bags with missing food is absurd, and don't even get me started being given bags with entirely other orders for different cars in them. It is apparent that there is ZERO discipline throughout the entirety of the staff, and zero care for providing customers proper service. I would do a better job MYSELF coming behind the counter and cooking, frying, assembling, and bagging my order than any single employee currently stationed at this franchise, without ANY exaggeration. Fast food places are supposed to be able to take, make, and dish out orders correctly and promptly, all while making sure the only reason a customer would want to return is to order more food; but unfortunately, that is simply not the case. Very rarely, and I mean RARELY, have I ordered from here and not had to bang a U-Turn almost immediately to come back and collect the rest of my missing order, or similar circumstances. My attempts to talk to crew-members and other staff about this subject has been met with denial, hostility, and ignorance. Regardless of the ages of the staff here, young and old, every single one of them act like teenagers; Emotional, impulsive, self righteous, and egotistic. Whomever the franchise owner may be, needs to see these kinds of reviews and take them seriously, because clearly none of the people on your payroll do. Revisions MUST be made to the hiring process and current staff, lest the rest of the town start eating at the McDonalds, Burger King, or Taco Bell just minutes down the street. Their food is already better unquestionably with McDonalds new fresh beef, Taco Bells prices, and Burger Kings better prices and larger portions. So assuming you don’t want your servers to deter any business your company may have left, please, hire some people that actually care about working, and the place that they work? Edited to add 11/1/24: This location has gone down hill 1000000%. After 7pm there’s only like 2 people working, even on a busy Friday or Saturday night, and after 8 or 9, there’s only 1 employee! Drive thru lines will take FOREVER. They’ll park you to keep their ticket times down but never come outside to bring you your food. The last couple times I went there was after 8 and there was only 1 employee working and they asked a customer in the drive thru to get out of their car and tell all 7 cars behind him that he’s working alone and isn’t taking any more orders even though they’re open til like 2am. Today they parked me and never brought my food out and when I went inside there was only one or two people working and it took me ONE HOUR AND SEVEN MINUTES to get my order! I wish my kids didn’t like Wendy’s because I never want to go back here. The manager SUCKS at scheduling staff properly because they’re trying to save the restaurant some money. GET A MANAGER THAT KNOWS HOW TO SCHEDULE STAFF PROPERLY! I honestly feel so bad for the staff that’s working because they’re running around like crazy people trying to get it all done, dropping food all over the floor, making a mess because they’re rushing, all while apologizing to every customer and having to explain to every customer that they’re short staffed because the manager won’t schedule more people to work & help. Read more2/4/22 Ok. Update. Wendys on Stae Rd. In Dartmouth. I was loving my Guilty pleasure of hot fresh fries. But is becoming a nightmare. The manager there is not a nice person. My fries were not hot and fresh. When I told her. She said her manager wanted them back. I said why? I'll give them back when I get my hot fresh fries. Anyways. When the young lady brought them out. They were overcooked and over crunchy. That manager chic seems controversial to me. Not consistent and I can no longer trust them. I paid $15.00 for the four items I got and I'm not happy having to deal with this person that apparently doesn't give a rats a** about customer service and food quality. Her solution to my complaint was to overcook my fries? I've been very nice and nonconfontational, but I feel like shewanted to feel my Rath. Not today though. I decided to put in words of how I feel.
