Yes, 1 star. This place is a joke. I go here from time tontime out of conviemce only. 2 workers, 1 doing online orders for Gtubhub while there are 8 peole in line, the other one helping those of us actually in the store, in line. 22 minutes after the 3 people in front finally get their order, it was my turn. 2 simply orders, 1 footlong on white with rotisserie chicken and pepper jack toasted. The other, footlong on white, steak and pepperjack...steak and pepperjack toasted, don't toast the bread. Subway white bread is the absolute most pathetic bread after toasted. So, she put the steak and pepperjack on the bread.....I said, "No, just the steak and pepperjack heated". After she looked at me with total disgust, because this was my fault, she proceeds to take the steak off the bread, put it back in the little premade bucket, and toast it. After asking what she was doing, and another wonderful look from the "sandwich artist", I told her to not bother. Condiments were at the bottom, got a couple olives with my Lettuce, spinach with my tomatoes....subway owner on 53rd, good riddance. Jimmy John's, Hobo, Jersey Mike's, way to get it right. Your sandwiches are 100 times better, and even cost less. Never again Subway on 53rd. Bybthe way, when I politely asked the girl who was doing the online orders if it wouldn't be better to help those thatvare actually in the store first, she just said no. Ill help when the online orders are done first....
Read moreThis location closes at 10pm and I showed up at 8:45pm which even if they did close at 9 was still enough time to serve me until they closed. I walked in and was greeted by a lady working on her own and she looked at the clock and told me she was about to shut her computer off and she didn’t wanna make my order. I told her I only needed one sandwich. She made my sandwich and I get the same thing every time I come to subway. I told her I wanted a spicy Italian for her to tell me that they didn’t have that and that it was at jimmy John’s instead(not true I’ve gotten this at subway since I was a kid). Because I’ve gotten this same thing every time I know that my order costs $15 and some change. She charged me $21.39 for one sandwich. Then I asked for a receipt and she said the machine was broken… so she wouldn’t let me see my receipt which as I’m guessing is because she knows she overcharged me. She basically shoved me out of the store in a hurried manner. Will not be coming back to this location. Very...
Read moreThis was the worst Subway experience I've ever had and I've frequented Subways all over the US. I asked for a gluten free wrap and they gave it to me but acted as if it were a hassle. I was ready to pay and noticed I had a coupon which I wanted to use. I showed the cashier, it was for a buy one get one free with a drink purchase. The cashier said go through the line again to get another wrap so I did. When I got back to the register then she told me I couldn't use the coupon so I had to pay for both wraps. All three employees acted rushed and uninterested in me or my patronage so I will never return to the Subway there on 53rd next to Whiteys. I will drive an extra 20 minutes and go to the store that has friendly employees who ask if they should change their gloves since I'm gluten free and act...
