I have visited many hot pot & bbq restaurants. I’ve been to several in Chicago, but I mostly visited K-Pot in South Carolina and elsewhere, so I’m familiar with the selection of food that is usually offered at a hot pot & bbq restaurant.

Jaing’s Hot Pot & BBQ is a bit limited with respect to the options for BBQ, but the available selections for hot pot more than makes up for that. Even better, your host will likely give you a personal tour of the layout of the buffet if you have never visit Jaing’s before. This extra step by the staff helps newcomers understand how hot pot and bbq selections differ, and how to ensure you aren’t placing the wrong food in your hot pot by mistake. Of all the hot pot & bbq restaurants I have visited, Jaing’s is the first to do this for me.

I enjoy the family friendly atmosphere and it’s evident that the owners and staff have placed a lot of effort into making Jaing’s a worthy competitor. So while I do wish the selection of food for the bbq would be expanded in the future, I have no complaints.

The host was attentive and thorough and added a bit of humor to our visit, and the overall experience was incredibly welcoming. I will certainly keep Jaing’s Hot Pot & BBQ on my list of places to visit again...

Tried hot pot for the first time today and I will FORSURE BE BACK. This place is VERY clean. And had some of the best customer service I have ever experienced. I had the mushroom broth 10/10, and a peach bubble tea, 10/10. They had seriously sooooo many options to choose from for the hot pot. 3 buffets filled with hot pot options. Also again these buffets were so clean!!! I was very impressed by the cleanliness, that’s something I really pay attention to especially at restaurants. Then they have BBQ, the meat options for the BBQ… OH MY GOSH THEY WERE SO GOOD. I tried one of each becuase I had never had it before and I was seriously taken back by the flavor in these meats. The Beef kabobs were my favorite. They also had a variety of deserts including ice creams and cakes, and a whole other buffet with deserts! Overall this was a great experience and it’s all you can eat! We will definitely be back. The bubble teas were also exceptional. They said u can come in and order just a bubble tea at the bar too. I don’t have one bad thing to say about this meal. If you haven’t tried,...

Went here with my family of four on opening night 2, we had a very lovely server and even got the story of how this restaurant came to be from the owner himself! He said it was his daughters dream for a hot pot/KBBQ in the quad cities and thus Jiang’s was born. Very lovely people, but enough about that, how was the food?

Exceptional. It really was, the best part about a place like this is how customizable it is. If you are unaware, they offer a large set of ingredients and soup bases all to be combined in a boiling stew in which you cook meat and other vegetables. They had very unique ingredients that you can’t find anywhere in the QC area.Their ingredients were fresh and delicious. I left wanting to return for the food but also to try a new combination of soup bases, spices and oils to find the perfect personalized mix. I already have plans to take my friends here to enjoy this new hot s(POT)! 😉 Not to mention their boba and bubble tea is delicious! I got the lychee tea and i would definitely come back just for that. Do yourself a favor and pay a visit...

I visited Jiang’s during dinner time on opening day, arriving around 7:10 PM, but didn't get seated until approx 8:00 PM which was expected. We didn't eat until about 8:20 PM due to some forgotten items. We were patient, knowing it was the opening day. Having tried various Asian hotpots/BBQs, I can say that Jiang’s price is reasonable. I approached it with modest expectations but was pleasantly surprised by what they offered for $30 per person. You can choose either hotpot, BBQ, or both, but I recommend picking one to fully enjoy. We tried several broths: Sichuan (🌶️🌶️), Tom Yum (🌶️), and mushroom, and all were tasty. There are a few minor suggestions for improvement. The marinated BBQ items were a bit too sweet for my aunt and uncle’s taste, but fortunately, the sauce bar helped balance that out. I stuck to the hotpot, so I didn't try much of the BBQ. For newcomers, be open to trying new things like remember to include some veggies in your meal—I've seen comments already.

All you can eat hot pot and Korean bbq for $30/person. They have a very large vegetarian selection, probably the largest veggie selection for any hot pot restaurant I’ve been to. From bean curd to seaweed to all types of mushrooms, etc. However, I wish there was a larger selection of hot pot meat options. It’s just beef, chicken, pork, and lamb. Wish they had beef sirloin vs chuck vs rib, etc. instead of just fatty beef. The kbbq lacked flavor. The LA Galbi and bulgogi didn’t really have the Korean marinate taste. It was good overall, lots of options, all you can eat, really good service, interior design nice, everything is self-serve, no waiting. The boba is also hella overpriced at the restaurant. Individual pot so you don’t gotta worry about germs or cross contamination for those who are germaphobes. I’d recommend this

My wife and I recently dined at Jiang's Hot Pot and Barbecue and had a fantastic experience! We have been to places like this before but our couple friends have not. The atmosphere was vibrant and inviting, making it a great place to enjoy a meal. Our waitress was absolutely amazing—super friendly and attentive. She walked us through the whole process, making sure we knew how to cook our food and was always there when we needed anything. The food itself was delicious, offering a variety of flavors and options. We had a lot of fun cooking at the table, and it was quite entertaining. I'm thrilled to have such a unique dining spot in the Quad Cities without needing to drive to Chicago for this kind of experience. Highly recommend it!"
