Terrible service!!! My family and I went to celebrate my Aunt's birthday, it would be a total of 15 people in the party. We spoke with the hostess, April, who told us that there is no seating, naturally, we asked for the wait time, we were not given one. Now I hate to pull tge so called "race card," but cant help but feel that we were being overlooked and underated because we were a family of African American Descent. We then asked to speak with the manager, the General Manager, Susan, came and spoke with us and got us seated right away. April begin to set our table we told April that we did not like the way she spoke to us nor her attitude towards our service and we would prefer if someone else sets our table, seemingly out of nowhere, the General Manager, Susan, appeared again and told us that she got us seated quickly, she resolved the situation, and to have a great day, as she abruptly turned and walked away. Now I do not claim to be a behavior analyst of any kind, but it seemed to me that everyone working at this place has a bad case of "lack of customer service skills" yes it's a real sickness. As a family unit we decided to gather our belongings and take our party of 15 elsewhere, but not before one more run in with the lovely (sarcastically implied) General Manager, Susan, of this establishment, who approached our table one last time and told us that she apologizes if she came off any type of way but she didnt want anything else to be said to April (yes the rude hostess). So it seemed to me she was more concerned about her staff and their emotions (not that we were rude to her in anyway) than a paying customer and how they would view and rate the establishment. Needless to say I will not support such establishment's that put no thought, value, or effort into customer service. As a Human Resources Professional I pride myself on telling all of my company's New Hires that Guest Service goes above all things. The guest are always right, and in the case a no has to be delivered, to thoroughly explain why you could not get to yes and to get management involved if necessary. Guest Service is the core of any successful business no matter what you're selling. The bottom line is the customer because without them there is nothing. Not entitled, just very passionate about the way people are treated, especially when they are spending...
Read moreI have been eating here for years. But this past Sunday was the worst service a party of six could ever receive. It was almost thirty minutes before we received our drinks. The servers brought out the appetizers, I realized we had no plates or utensils, and no waitress to be found. My wife got up and found the manager who came with utensil, but no plates. I told the manager we've been waiting a very long time and we wanted to get the main courses ordered. There went another 15 minutes, before the waitress came running out to finally take out orders. Here is what happened next. Prime rib ordered medium rare, came out well done. Ribs overcooked. I let the manager know, this was unacceptable, he was going to send out another prime rib, but it never arrived. Next, we are almost 100 percent certain that the snapper my wife ordered was something other than snapper. I never seen a snapper filet so thick and very dark. Putting aside my thoughts, this entrée sucked!!!! The coleslaw, one bite and spit it right out onto my plate, the slaw had a rotten taste. I let the waitress know, she said there was nothing she could do, it was out of her hands. She was apologetic, however she was responsible for the worst service ever. As for the manager that was there, he should be ashamed of himself for letting this fiasco continue on as it did. He should have been in Damage Control mode. In the end he didn't even have the balls to show his face at out table. They deducted from $50.00 from our bill. Was that adequate, i would say not. It was the worst experience that my family could ever experience. In the end, I wanted to pay my check and get the hell out of there. I rate them...
Read moreOur server was great, but in my opinion, this restaurant should be shut down for a thorough cleaning, carpet and astroturf ripped out and replaced with sanitary flooring, and dirty woven upholstery fabric replaced with vinyl or other easily-cleaned material. The upholstered "booth" seats looked and smelled filthy. Inside, the carpet looked even more disgusting.. An employee was sweeping astroturf dirt right toward us. Yum. My table companion runs a non-profit that works with birds. We both love birds. love birds, But there were wild birds -- grackles -- walking all over the empty tables. Wild birds can have mites. While we ate, mites -- tiny bugs -- crawling on us, the table, and our food. I had ignored other reviews complaining about this restaurant's dirty appearance. My mistake. My salad was a joke. The menu said it contains "pears and tomatoes.". A photo shows large slices of pears. In reality, there were about five 1/8" cubes of each -- so tiny that one fell between the tines of my fork. The patty melt looked OK, but neither of us could finish our food. Too nauseated by the bugs and dirty surroundings. I would never go back to the...
