Ye Olde Falcon Pub — Restaurant in Davie

This was my last meal that I had on my vacation in the area and it will definitely be my last for this pub. I came with a group of friends, one of which that is from the area. There were a few people at the bar but at the time that we got in we were the only ones sitting at a table. I had asked what they had on tap and attempted to purchase a bud light but to my dismay they were completely out. This seemed fair seeing that St. Patrick's day was roughly a week before. We were then promptly asked to hand our credit cards over so that they could hold them throughout the meal, which is a first for any pub/restaurant that I had heard of. The friend from the area knew what he wanted to order right off the bat and did so with the first waitress. After 15 minutes had passed with the first waitress sitting at the bar we had asked another waitress if the rest of us could place an order. She took our order without writing anything down and then came back 20 minutes later asking what I had ordered again, the same time when the first people had ordered had gotten their food. About 15 minutes had passed and another friend had showed up and she had placed an order immediately. Another 15 minutes had passed and she received her food along with my other friends. I had asked her what was wrong with my order for not being out on time and they had said that the order was mixed up, again. Waitress #2 did not come back to our table for the rest of the evening. About 15 minutes had passed once again, as I was getting irritated and asked another waitress if my order would be out soon as most of the people had finished their food. She then brought my order out roughly 5 minutes after that and I received an order of mild and "garlic" wings. The wings were over cooked as the bones snapped when trying to eat them. The "garlic wings" were pasted with garlic and it needed to be scraped off to be anywhere near edible. I was never asked how anything had tasted nor was I offered an apology on why my order had taken so long. We received our bill and they should be surprised that I still had the heart...

So I've been coming here for about 5 years. Let me tell you something, I come here with my friends often and the waitress/waiter will sometimes mess up the order, which is normal and it happens, people make mistakes. Today, my friends and I had an issue with the order. We ordered 3 pitchers, but there was a 4th one and we drank it. We did end up paying for the 4th pitcher, but we only realized that there was a 4th pitcher after we got our receipts. None of us ordered the 4th one. Now you may think it's our fault for not knowing what we ordered, but let's be realistic. I might remember my order, but what makes you think I'd remember or even know what my other 9 friends ordered. Some of them only drank water, some of them didn't even order anything. We all know what we ordered. My other two friends got the 2 pitchers and I got the 3rd one. We're all just talking and enjoying our time, there's an extra pitcher at our table. What makes you think we're all gonna start asking who ordered the 4th one? We assumed that one of us did because like I said, nobody pays attention to everybody's ordered except their own. We had multiple tabs opened! When we're just having a good time and laughing, we're just going to assume that one of us did orders the 4th one! So, we did have a chance to talk with the owner of the pub, and this is the FUNNY part. He tells us that the waitress wouldn't bring the 4th pitcher to our table unless we ordered it. REALLY? Like your workers are all PERFECT? I BEEN COMING HERE FOR 5 YEARS AND DO YOU KNOW THAT THESE WORKERS WILL FORGET YOUR ORDER AND WILL COME UP TO US WITH A PITCHER/DRINKS/FOODS THAT WE DIDN'T ORDER AND ASK US IF WE ORDERED THESE? THAT JUST PROVES THAT YOUR WORKERS MAKES MISTAKES. DON'T JUST SLIDE IN AN EXTRA PITCHER IN A TABLE WITH A LARGE GROUP AND ACCUSE THAT WE ORDERED IT. I'm done...

What's up googlers it's your favorite Google reviewer. Now if you're looking for a cool spot to come hang out at after work hours you should come here. They have really good food in maybe play a little beer pong this is the spot for you you'll find a bunch of college students here cuz it's right across the street from the colleges not to mention this place is in a good location so it's always popping. But I'm here to tell you about how delicious the hamburger 🍔 are. I was so impress of course fresh vegetables lettuce tomatoes onion with a large cut pickle on the side which I always enjoyed more because I hate to have my pickles in my burger but that's just me, so if you want that sour taste you have your pickle to chew on. the bread was nicely grilled you can taste and see the grill charm marks you can't beat that and it was one of my favorite kind of buns with black sesame seeds on top me personally I love eating a hamburger with sesame seeds. I sauce it up with mustard and ketchup and had a nice cold beer. 7 bucks a beer🍺 giving you guys a heads up. As a chef myself and I know we're just talking about hamburgers but I literally had to go to the back and let the cook know that that was one of the most delicious burgers I ever had I ordered a medium well it came out perfect, thank you Evan for the delicious food as a chef myself I had to walk to the back of the kitchen and speak to the chef and tell him that was really a delicious Burger....
