Read moreNot only have I been a customer for Vicky Bakery since I was a child, I have been a long standing customer at this particular store in Davie since the day it opened. I even have the app that I use to accrue points for my future purchases for my office (which on an average run about $250 per month !)
There has been a change in management that is CLEARLY evident in the attitude and quality of customer service given.
On Sunday December 11th, I went to the bakery as I do on numerous mornings before I head to work which I start at 7:30. I have always enjoyed the convenience of this bakery as it opens at 6:30. I arrived at 6:45 today, opened the door and went inside. There was only one person, a young lady behind the counter, standing at the coffee machine. She did not turn around to acknowledge me which I found a bit odd as the staff is always quite friendly and attentive. I approached the register which is right in front of the door that leads to the kitchen/bakery area. I could see (as they could as well) several employees in the kitchen, one which is the current manager of that store. A few moments passed and no one approached me for my order. I cleared my throat loud enough to get the young lady's attention. It worked as she turned around, looked at me then proceeded to go into the kitchen area. She never said a word to me until she came back out of the kitchen, only to tell me this particular store is now opening at 7am on Sundays. Mind you, the signage on the door says 6:30, THE DOOR WAS OPEN AND ALL THEIR PRODUCTS WERE OUT ON THEIR COUNTER READY FOR PURCHASE. You would think the manager would at least come out to apologize, no such thing occurred. Loyal customer no more. I'd rather go out of my way and give my business to a competitor than put my foot in this...
Read moreOrder 25 chicken croquettes, 25 ham croquettes, and 25 beef empanada for my boss b-day at work. They fail to mention when ordering for catering the size is three times small than the displayed items (never mentioned to me or i would've ordered more) before picking up my order tho, i called and asked what time it'll be done, the girl said hold on let me check and 20 minutes later I'm still on hold so i hang up and call back, I mentioned How long i was on hold and what i needed and she said you can come now it's ready now (NOT EVEN AN APOLOGY WAS GIVEN). I got there to get the food and ended up ordering the breakfast special- coffee was great and the lady the making the cafe con leche was nice and smiles even. The scrambled eggs looked like it was the left over that cooks in the pan too long and you have to scrape it out with cheese on top. The fries were unevenly done, some were hot some still cold and the "toast" was soft. I was running late so i didn't have time to check before leaving or they would've given my money back. The wait for food was long and their standards for food quality are def low. Now on the positive, even tho the Croquettes where small along with tiny empanadas they still taste good. Customer service is terrible here, and compared to the Hialeah location which i absolutely love. . they a were a disappointing to me. It sucks when you brag to friends of how good a place is and when you go it's a...
