Update: picked up here today. Ordered rhe usual medianoches, pastry tray, pandebono, chicken croquettas and empanadas and decided to give their chicken sandwich a try again. The chicken sandwich was okay but the second half of my sandwich had barely any chicken. I added a photo to show. Other than that, everything waa pretty good. The curly haired gentleman qho took our order was very nice. Ordered from here today off ubereats for the first time and was not very impressed. The food was cold by the time is arrived and they had the poor uber driver waiting at the restaurant for 20 minutes waiting for the food. The cafe con leche was tasty but fun sized (super small) Another thing is that everything was packaged together in 1 box. Meats and desserts all stacked on top of eachother, what if someone didnt eat meat? The pastelitos were ok. The cream cheese ones were good, the guava and cream cheese ones had no cream cheese and hardly any guava. Theyre very inconsistent with size also, one was big and the other was half the size. We also Ordered 5 chicken croquettas and I guess they ran out so they threw in ham ones instead. We do not eat ham. The empanadas were juicy and flavorful but loaded with olives so if you dont like olives, I'd consider trying something else. Some were pretty well packed and the others were half empty. We wont be ordering from here again. Even with the free delivery and 20% off promotion.

Vicky's bakery is a true gem in the area. We stumbled upon it by chance and were delighted! It looks exactly as you picture an actual bakery to look like. There are cases of beautiful desserts, pastries and other baked goods. All three employees we encountered were extremely polite and helpful. We went after 6 when items were half off (not sure if that is daily) so we got A LOT for under $35. Everything was amazing, it passed everyone's standards...including the picky palate of a 10yr girl. Ha. In addition to sweets and other Cuban goods, we got a Medianoche and it was the best I have ever had. It has just the right amount of every ingredient and pressed perfectly. They are open everyday of the week and cater to several food delivery services. They have tables and a comfortable seating area. There is also water and cups near the door. There was also outdoor seating. There is one bathroom which was very clean and spacious. Perfect if you have a couple small ones with you. We will definitely be back the next time we are in town!

I have been coming to this location for 4 years. It's always been a great experience. Unfortunately this past weekend really left me pretty upset. My parents absolutely love cuban food. They live in an area where there isn't cuban food. So on Sunday I was taking them back home (2 hrs away) and my mom wanted to pick up something quick but good. I told her about this location and how my husband and I have had several of the sandwiches here and they've been fantastic. She then ordered a midnight sandwich, and 2 pan con lechon. I didn't check it (I should have) because again, I've never had a bad experience. I finally drop off my parents at their house. When they finally settle in and go to warm up their food, it was disappointing, to say the least. The midnight sandwich - barely any meat and the bread was burnt. The pan con lechon (both of them), barely any meat inside and didn't look appetizing. Not coming back to vickys after this. I felt absolutely terrible suggesting this to my parents.

Not only have I been a customer for Vicky Bakery since I was a child, I have been a long standing customer at this particular store in Davie since the day it opened. I even have the app that I use to accrue points for my future purchases for my office (which on an average run about $250 per month !)

There has been a change in management that is CLEARLY evident in the attitude and quality of customer service given.

On Sunday December 11th, I went to the bakery as I do on numerous mornings before I head to work which I start at 7:30. I have always enjoyed the convenience of this bakery as it opens at 6:30. I arrived at 6:45 today, opened the door and went inside. There was only one person, a young lady behind the counter, standing at the coffee machine. She did not turn around to acknowledge me which I found a bit odd as the staff is always quite friendly and attentive. I approached the register which is right in front of the door that leads to the kitchen/bakery area. I could see (as they could as well) several employees in the kitchen, one which is the current manager of that store. A few moments passed and no one approached me for my order. I cleared my throat loud enough to get the young lady's attention. It worked as she turned around, looked at me then proceeded to go into the kitchen area. She never said a word to me until she came back out of the kitchen, only to tell me this particular store is now opening at 7am on Sundays. Mind you, the signage on the door says 6:30, THE DOOR WAS OPEN AND ALL THEIR PRODUCTS WERE OUT ON THEIR COUNTER READY FOR PURCHASE. You would think the manager would at least come out to apologize, no such thing occurred. Loyal customer no more. I'd rather go out of my way and give my business to a competitor than put my foot in this...

Order 25 chicken croquettes, 25 ham croquettes, and 25 beef empanada for my boss b-day at work. They fail to mention when ordering for catering the size is three times small than the displayed items (never mentioned to me or i would've ordered more) before picking up my order tho, i called and asked what time it'll be done, the girl said hold on let me check and 20 minutes later I'm still on hold so i hang up and call back, I mentioned How long i was on hold and what i needed and she said you can come now it's ready now (NOT EVEN AN APOLOGY WAS GIVEN). I got there to get the food and ended up ordering the breakfast special- coffee was great and the lady the making the cafe con leche was nice and smiles even. The scrambled eggs looked like it was the left over that cooks in the pan too long and you have to scrape it out with cheese on top. The fries were unevenly done, some were hot some still cold and the "toast" was soft. I was running late so i didn't have time to check before leaving or they would've given my money back. The wait for food was long and their standards for food quality are def low. Now on the positive, even tho the Croquettes where small along with tiny empanadas they still taste good. Customer service is terrible here, and compared to the Hialeah location which i absolutely love. . they a were a disappointing to me. It sucks when you brag to friends of how good a place is and when you go it's a...
