Outback Steakhouse — Restaurant in Davie

Went there for a birthday dinner. It was uncomfortable to be squeezed five people in a booth, but that wasn’t the worst part. I had to wipe the table with the menu. There seat look like the people from before us spilled a drink, it was dried up and sticky looking. I asked the girl if I can get something to clean and she gave me a dry napkin. It would be nice if somebody came over and actually properly clean the seat. They left the round plate on the table and it had food crumbs from the people before. It took up room and nobody wants to look at a dirty plate. We order our drinks and a blooming onion. The blooming onion comes out in two minutes, but no drinks. We finished it, the drinks came out 10 minutes later. We got our meals. They brought another blooming onion, we said we already had it. Somebody ordered a New York strip medium. It came out raw. Sent it back and they bring it back less than 10 minutes later., still undercooked.nobody apologized, it was just grab it and come back five minutes later. Take it back again. Somebody ordered the Mac and cheese which is extra, it was ice cold. I ordered the steak and shrimp for $30.00! You get 4 shrimps on a unappetizing looking onion bread that looks like it’s burnt, but the shrimp was cold. I got tired of sending things back. The side veggies that use to come steamed, came out cold, hard, soaking in butter. The presentation of the food is horrible! A steak should look seasoned and juicy. They look dried. It was one of the worse meals I have ever had! The place was unorganized, very poorly run, and must have no adequate help in the kitchen. You know what’s worse than a horrible meal? Not impressed at all. Ate there 2 days in a row, both times were mediocre at best. 1st day had the prime rib sandwich, the all steak chili and potato soup. 1st off the sandwich was bitter because the bread and cheese were burnt. The steak chili literally had 3 cubes of steak the size of a sugar cube at most. It was all some kind of stewed tomato. Absolutely horrible. The potato soup tasted like it came from a can. I HIGHLY doubt they hand make it. Everything I had was less than mediocre. And the sides were VERY small. I thought maybe I just ordered the wrong food and just didn’t like it. Went back the next day to try again. This time I got the 11 oz filet. Ordered medium, received it burnt on the outside and brown on the inside. Tough and burnt. Definitely not a $20 steak in any way at all. Was VERY disappointed. Also got the loaded mashed potato. Wasn’t loaded at all. They gave me a little 1 oz cup with ingredients to put on mashed potatoes myself. Needless to say, extremely unimpressed. Also got the Mac n cheese. Got about 4 spoon fulls and I guarantee it wasn’t fresh. I guarantee it was at least from the day before. Pretty awful. What the heck happened to Outback? 2 days, 2 TOTALLY different meals and they were both borderline terrible. Feel like I got jipped. Went to this exact spot a couple years ago several times and it was ALWAYS excellent. Also food was Luke warm at the most. I’m not an in store complainer l, but I felt obligated to leave a review in hopes this place will change for the better. I am happy to write a raving review about Nick's outstanding customer service at Outback Steakhouse. My recent dining experience at this restaurant was truly pleasurable, thanks in large part to Nick's attentive and friendly service as our waiter.

From the moment we walked in, Nick greeted us with a warm smile and made us feel right at home. He took the time to explain the menu and offer suggestions based on our preferences, which was incredibly helpful. Throughout our meal, Nick checked on us regularly to ensure we had everything we needed, but was never intrusive.

What really stood out to me was Nick's attention to detail. He went above and beyond to accommodate our requests, and was always willing to go the extra mile to ensure our dining experience was enjoyable. For example, when we asked for an extra side of sauce, he quickly brought it over with a smile, and even offered to refill our drinks without us having to ask.

Nick's positive attitude and enthusiasm for his job were truly infectious, and made our meal even more enjoyable. He clearly takes pride in providing excellent customer service, and it showed in every interaction we had with him.
