Ocean Club — Local services in Daytona Beach Shores

We only went here for the turtles because we saw the horrible reviews. They were the only place that sold them we could find though. when we pulled up we should have just left. Liquor bottles were all over the sidewalk and by the door. We felt very uncomfortable when we walked in. The whole place was very shady. They were not practicing social distancing or making sure anything was kept clean. Only one employee was wear a mask and he was the one that got the turtles for us. He was very nice but after he gave us the turtles he told us they were out of food so they would take a few dollars off. I asked if they are out of food what are they feeding the turtles? He never answered. Went to check out and the lady that we thought was maybe a manager came to check us out. In the middle of checking us out a VERY shady guy came in with a backpack went behind the counter and sold her “something” from inside the backpack. Then she continued to ring us up. We were vacationing in Daytona and Orlando for Halloween week and stopped in this souvenir shop. My daughter, my autistic cousin, and myself were treated great by the lady that was running the store. She went above and beyond for us and we felt welcome. The store has so many souvenirs and clothing to choose from that we were there for more than an hour. We got some good stuff to remember our vacation and I recommend the Ocean Club souvenir shop to all tourists visiting Daytona Beach and all locals as well. We...

It's a large store with a lot to look at... you have to chase down the staff.... everything is WAY OVER PRICED....(I will go to CVS, Walgreens, Public's, or even ACE Hardware, Before I ever go back there!) Even asked for a specific towel(because they are so high.. you can't reach them) and they had it bagged and waiting for me at the register... WRONG TOWEL... thier policy is NO REFUNDS/NO EXCHANGES.... Hadn't been out of the store MAYBE 2 minutes!! Got in my car and noticed... took it back...
