IHOP — Restaurant in Daytona Beach Shores

When I picked up my food, waitress seemed nice. I asked her if I could get silverware because I had forgot to add it onto my order. She said she had already put silverware in the bottom of the bag, and I said oh! Okay. Thank you and have a great night!

When I got home, no Mayo or mustard for the cheeseburger, and when I requested no pickle, my only request, was completely ignored and instead they put on 9 pickles on it.

The side salad was slimy like it was 3 days past expired and I got the bottom of the bag.

My French toast was cold, but the blueberries were still hot. No syrup for the French toast. And no whip cream as advertised.

This isn’t my only issue with them. I’ve been going here for 9 years since I moved into the neighborhood. Being a local, I am very disappointed. My last order, I called and asked if I could get the burger with the fried egg over hard. The gentlemen on the phone explained it came like that. I told him I was under the impression that the egg came over easy with how runny it was the time before, and thought I had to call to request it since there was no option for that on the website. He laughed and said no, the guy just did not make it correctly then. When I got my food. Not only was it runny, but it was translucent white and ready to burst at any minute. I have been going here almost 5 times a week for over 3 months and the food has been excellent every time and quick. The servers always greet me with a smile and seat me quickly and are always very attentive and extremely polite up until tonight . They had a new server a short blond girl that when I walked in gave me dirty looks and made me feel very uncomfortable for the fist time since going there over 50 times and when I was leaving the same short blond server was just outside the door yelling and swearing at someone on her phone . Again made me extremely uncomfortable as I'm walking to my car the same server got off her phone continuing yelling and swearing about other staff members . Such a horrable experience iafter working all day ....m not sure i will return there . Sad all the other servers are so nice and polite and very attentive to me and my food i really enjoyed the weekly experience up until tonight's experience....whoever does the hiring should be looking a little harder at the people they hire . Would have given a 5 star rating reverytime right up until my experience tonight servers representing ihop should should not. Be behaving or speaking like that in or outside a family resteraunts with children. I'm just happy it was me and not some family with children getting subjected to that ....management really needs to deal with this to prevent it...

I am on vacation, so we have been to IHOP several times this week for breakfast. The first time we went it was on Monday and it was crowded as expected. We did not have to wait very long though. We have 3 adults, a 9 and 12 year old with us. The food was very good and our waiter was an older gentleman and he was excellent!! I wish I had gotten his name.🥰 We went back on Wednesday and it was not (as good) or as crowded, but we had to wait longer. We had a young lady for our waitress and she was struggling to keep things straight. She told us they had already ran out of BACON and CHICKEN and it was only 11:20 am.😯 When we needed something we had to tell her several times to get it. Then, we would not get it. 😠 Well....we thought we would give them another try today (Friday) before we left to head back home. It was not very crowded at all around (10:45am) so we got seated pretty quickly. Our waitress (a young lady) was FANTASTIC!! She was on it!!!🥰 We had everything we needed and the food was good and hot. Only one exception my sister was the only one who ordered toast ALL THREE DAYS!! She NEVER received it at all. My sister didn't even ask about it today, but our fabulous waitress brought it to our table and told us it just came up!!😮 We were ALL finished with our breakfast. The cook should have the toast on the plate when the breakfast comes out. This MUST BE an...
