Dunkin' — Restaurant in Daytona Beach

I don't usually go to this location, but the few times I have were very disappointing experiences. Most recently: I went through the drive thru at about 11am. I asked for a dozen assorted donuts, but to please put a strawberry sprinkled and a blueberry cake donut, and the rest could be whatever. I asked for two medium caramel iced coffees with cream and sugar, but with one of them having two turbo shots. I asked for a plain toasted bagel with extra cream cheese. It's a lot to read, sure, but I was prepared to clarify anything if they asked because I know my order can get complicated sometimes. They did not ask anything and told me my total is 18.32. Okay. Sure. I pull up and give the lady 20 and she gives me my change, then my two drinks, the bag with my bagel in it, and the box of donuts. I say my "have a great day," and drive off because I have to get to work, assuming she put the receipt in the bag. I look at the drinks and see that they both have marked off on espresso shot, instead of just one with two, and the dozen donut box contains three blueberry donuts, and three strawberry frosted donuts with no sprinkles, there is no receipt anywhere, and I can't turn around because I have to get to work. I was not even offered a receipt. Sometimes they say "would you like your receipt?" And I'd say yes or no, but I was not given an option or a receipt. It wasn't a terrible experience and I got mostly what I ordered, but there was no attention to detail...

Only put one star to leave this review in hopes that management will see it and better their business. Not likely, though as it it evident that not even the management cares about this business. Last three orders I got from this location were not only incorrect, but gross, as well. Most recently I ordered a large hot chai latte with oatmilk and a shot of espresso. (When made correctly it is AMAZING!) What I got was a barely warm chai flavored REGULAR milk with no espresso. I was charged for the espresso, but my brothers and sisters in Christ, this latte wasn't even made near the espresso maker, much less with a shot in it. So, while I am a lifelong Dunkin customer, this particular store will no longer receive my patronage. Also, you have the most enraging, illogical, and counterproductive drive thru system I have ever seen in any business ever. But, likee I said, this store will make ZERO changes because the high school kids keep pumping them with money so as long as the bottom line is fat and their bills are paid, they couldn't possibly care less about customer satisfaction, and it shows in every mediocre/less than desireable drop of beverage and crumb of food that, unfortunately, is bought and paid for by some poor, unsuspecting sap who is about to have his morning ruined. Anyway, hope you close this store and make it something useful......

I’ve only been to this particular Dunkin’ Donuts twice. 1st time a few months ago. I asked for a Hot caramel macchiato & I was served a cold one. Yesterday 3/15/24 I went in and asked for a Hot caramel macchiato & the lady at the register said she couldn’t understand me like I kept repeating what I wanted & she got upset so I said can you please get someone else to take my order? I said “it must be my accent” & she got really upset & said I can’t deal with lady! I said you don’t have to have that type of attitude dealing with customers, can you get a manager please. She started telling the manager I can’t deal with her. & said “with an attitude “ I don’t have an attitude!!! I looked at the manager & he looked at her & told her to step away. Then he apologized, took my order & said he’ll be talking to her. I said thank you. Mind you she went back to the register & kept talking to her coworkers & customers about me! I just sat & waited patiently for my order. Sadly I won’t be going there again. Such a shame…some people should not be working with the public. I remember her telling me she was sick. I sympathize but if that’s the attitude you’re going to have when you’re sick at work then you probably should stay home & not ruin everyone else’s day so...
