The first word that comes to mind when I think about my experience at Madeline's is refreshing. With their community seating, lovely vibe, and open kitchen you almost can not help but be mesmerized into a soulful vibe zone.

I was on the fence about the blueberry coriander venaigrette that comes with the Nova Scotia (I'm on the fence about most dressings/venaigrettes because in my experience restaurants tend to over dress their salads) but Elle assured me that it would be perfect and it was. So much so I asked for more! Ask for her. Talk to her about the menu. She won't steer you wrong.

Soup of the day was a gazpacho that I was excited to try. Not only was it gorgeous to take in it was delicious and... well refreshing! Really nice, delicate, and flavorful mix of tones. Chef Joseph Mendez food is quite literally the "chef's kiss". Pun absolutely intended.

I feel a way about not remembering the white wine label that Elle introduced me to however, I think that it's a good thing so that you can go and ask questions. Start with "it's by someone name Karen (I think). It's a Sauvignon Blanc with citrus notes most noticeably grapefruit that isn't overpowering." and see what comes of it.

My original go to at Madeline's Wine Bar are the smoke salmon toast points. Don't second guess yourself. Order them. And let me just say that they are a GREAT portion size for the price. This is definitely a new regular.

We went on a Thursday evening with a group of girls for a girls night out. The food was amazing. At the beginning of our visit service was great however started lacking at the end due to what appeared to be only one server working the whole restaurant, so it was no fault of hers. What the downside of the evening was the music. It was SO loud no one could talk. There were two women at the bar that asked them to please lower the volume and the keyboard player was great and said no problem. The Sax player (who sounded great but way too loud) was very rude back and said “you come a live music venue to listen to the music not complain about it”. The women ended up leaving. We then asked them to please lower the volume as we were literally having to yell to one another to talk. It was never lowered. Contrary to his comment most people going to a wine bar want to talk when they are with a group of people and the music should be at a level where people can talk and hear one another not leave hoarse. One of the women in our group said they had been once before and left for the same reason. We all agreed we probably won’t return strictly because of the music situation. Great place, fabulous food but definitely need to get the music situation under control. It’s not a concert venue it’s a...

I went to Madeline’s last Thursday with a group of girlfriends after work. The atmosphere is welcoming and the decor is lovely. A new hidden gem! Drinks and appetizers were great. Unfortunately, when it became time to settle our bills, splitting the bill confused our server. We all see each other often, so not a big deal, we can work it out amongst ourselves. However, two of us were charged extra bills on our credit cards (over $60 each). We have spent four days calling both numbers listed online for Madeline’s with no answer. I was disappointed because I was planning to return again this weekend, but being unable to contact a business is not reassuring.

My friend and I who were double-charged would be happy to receive a call or email from management to sort this out. My initial impression of Madeline’s was definitely better than a 1-star review; this is just my last way to attempt to speak with someone there to...

This place is really neat. I always dig places that have nice lighting and eccletic seating and decor. This place has a relaxed vibe, with great wine. You get to sample a few before making your glass selection. Stacy was great and served up some solid recommendations. We know our wines and our note preferences and she nailed it! The backlit onyx bar counter was beautiful. There’s Comfy couches and a variety of barstools to plant yourself on. They had life music which is always a plus. However, I will note their standard background music was great, too. Walking towards the bathroom was an experience in itself. If you’re ever near by, check it out!

This restaurant is a very fancy wine bar located in Historic Daytona Beach on Beach Street. It has been remodeled and has a beautiful decor. It is a very cozy setting with different large tables and chairs and even smaller relax chairs. They have a very diverse menu with various charcuterie boards, salads, and snacks. There is a large diverse list of wines. The lighting is awesome and they have live music weekly on Ladiies Night for Wine Wednesdays. The staff is very friendly and the food is amazing. It is definitely a new kind of bar for the Daytona Beach area.
