emphasizing that the chicken was “burnt old and dry”. Dear Golden Chicken Management,
I am writing to express my deep disappointment with my recent experience at Golden Chicken. On November 26, 2024, I drove 35 minutes to purchase a well-cooked, golden chicken, intending it for a stage four cancer patient. Unfortunately, the chicken I received was not only severely burnt but also old, dry, and completely inedible.
This is the second time I have encountered this issue. About 40 days ago, I purchased a chicken from your establishment that was also burnt and subpar. At that time, I chose not to complain, but experiencing this twice is unacceptable, especially given the effort and purpose behind my purchase.
As a business owner myself, I understand the importance of maintaining quality and ensuring customer satisfaction. When customers spend their time and money—$24 in this case—they expect a fresh, well-prepared, and high-quality product. I strongly urge you to implement better quality control measures, such as ensuring freshness, proper cooking, and showing customers the chicken before wrapping it.
This experience has not only wasted my money but also caused unnecessary frustration and disappointment. I kindly request a refund or a replacement for the burnt, old, and dry chicken as a gesture of goodwill. I trust that you will take this feedback seriously to prevent such issues...
Read moreGot the whole chicken to go. Brought it home, you’d think I had ordered a hen not a chicken and it was burnt. Borderline inedible. The hummus and vegetarian grape leaves - Amazing! I will never order whole chicken here again as this was my second time having a bad experience with it. Sadly nothing “Golden” about their chicken.
Update (February 9, 2025): I reluctantly decided to give this restaurant another chance, hoping my previous experience was just a fluke. Unfortunately, my optimism was severely misplaced, and I’m now downgrading my rating to a dismal 1 star. If there were an option for zero stars, I wouldn't hesitate to choose it. This establishment is a shadow of its former self.
I ordered a whole chicken, grape leaves, and tabouleh, but what I received was a pitiful, flavorless chicken that was so unappetizing I wouldn’t even consider feeding it to my dog. To add insult to injury, the young girl behind the counter had the audacity to claim they had given me the largest chicken after I had just shared my disappointing experience from before. It was utterly ridiculous.
Do yourself a favor and save your money—this place is not worth your time or hard-earned cash. Take your...
Read moreLittle crowded and people weren't distancing much in store, there was plenty of room to spread out but many were standing way to close. The food was really good. well seasoned and hot. Portion sizes and prices were spot on. would recommend. I ordered ahead and food was done in time promised. Hummus was really nutty, buttery flavor, in a good way. different than some other hummus i have tried. this is a excellent version. The lemon chicken was weak in lemon flavor and a wedge of lemon might have pushed it over the top. They also used a specific spice to the soup that added a different element for me, i didn't like the taste. overall for me maybe 2 star. All the other food was spot on and tasty I would recommend. 5 Star not a sit down shop at this moment but plenty of space for a few tables once restriction is lifted. The order was correct. and on time. don't miss out on the take-out spot you shouldn't be...
