China Wok — Restaurant in Dearborn

Ordered the 6.99 meal and ordered spicy chicken, general chicken, and fried rice. The idiot behind the counter gives me white rice instead of fried rice. As for the spicy chicken dish, it has a mixture of onions in it as well. The tray was kinda low on chicken and had more onions. I literally watched him scoop chicken, drop it back into the tray. He then proceeded to scoop onions (intentionally instead of getting the chicken I paid for) and put that onto my plate. The general chicken was chewy like it had been sitting for a few hours also. Then he tried to sell my roommate who ordered a similar tray an egg roll but failed to mention that it costs an extra $1.39. Had my roommate not asked, he would have been surprised with an extra charge. Oh, and never before have I seen a Chinese establishment not include fortune cookies in a meal. I’m only giving it two stars because the mixed steamed vegetables were delicious along with the bourbon chicken. The steak and pepper with bell pepper and onions tasted spoiled. I couldn’t even eat it. I guess this is why they don’t allow you to taste a sample before you buy the food. They lost me as a customer with this but even the bottled coke I bought from them was old, flat and the taste had turned. I was actually afraid that I was going to get sick after eating this. This place always has a study flow of customers, sort of strange because it feels more like a coney island. The food is indeed flavorless once it gets cold. Also I can't see what's going on in the kitchen (always a bad sign). Service is fast and sort of delightful if all your looking for is efficiency. Not sure what part of the chicken is used but certainly not breast meat. More than likely thighs. The Pepper steak was really tough and dry. To top it all off the chowmein was made with spaghetti noodles ( which you can use ) but for the price it just seemed strange. My first and last...
