Mrs. Fields — Restaurant in Dearborn

I will start by saying, I have never written a review for any establishment, no matter how great their service or food. However, this Mrs. Fields is cause for exception. I was in need of a cookie basket for work and after calling every single other Mrs. Fields in the metro-Detroit area, I came across this one. Every single other store turned me down, despite their advertisements for such baskets, except for Shirely, the owner. She not only AGREED to make the basket for me, but she went COMPLETELY out of her way to accommodate my request. She actually went out to Michaels to buy the basket, ribbon, and other materials… ON HER DAY OFF! It was a sincerely nice touch and some of the best costumer service I have ever experienced.

I always found most of the employees at this location to be very unfriendly, rude, and short- tempered. Now, as far the the products go, the cookies and brownies with frosting on them are very dry!....Almost inedible. When I asked them how long they had been sitting out they replied: "from last night". That's impossible!!! Tasted more like they had been baked 4-5 days before. It's terrible that you pay good money for these products and you don't get good quality baked goods. I would not recommend this location to anyone. Find another location if you really love...

Was there today 6/21 at about 7:20PM, I wanted a cookie cake for my fiancés birthday and was aware that they close at 8PM-. When I tried to place an order for one the two girls looked at each other as if they didn't want to go through the trouble and had told me they turned the oven off already- which I'm not understanding why you would shut off an oven to fulfill orders 40minutes before closing. Also was told I had to "pre-order" one, when I told them that I've came in before placing an order on the spot and that it was no problem. Never...
