Carniceria las delicias #2 — Restaurant in Decatur

My first experience here food was not so good. I decided to give them another try since I've read all the good reviews. I got a carne asada burrito and it was extremely greasy! I know a little grease makes food taste better but this burrito was drenched to the point the flour tortilla was breaking apart! I couldn't even pick it up to eat. I've tried the meat they sell here to take home and grill, it's ok but not for the price. Overall my opinion of this Carniceria/taqueria food is not so good and it's way too expensive. Would not recommend. My brothers girlfriend ordered chili rellenos, it was microwaved and stuck to the plate.Had some burnt type of meat thrown on top. I ordered the Machacado a La Mexicana and got carne desebrada.The salsa is watery, cold and no flavor. The chips are like toastitos or something. I just think you should take pride in what you advertise. They have clientele but I think if you offer home made flour tortillas and some good salsa you’d make better breakfast tacos and Mexican plates. I tried adding pictures but it wouldn’t let me....

Saw them getting the old meat out and using it for customer's entrees. And on weekends when they sell menudo, you could still smell the dirtiness of the cows stomach, that just shows you that they don't wash it out right. I really don't appreciate when the cook it's not clean in the kitchen, makes me think that he's not worried about the food that I eat, so why keep going.
