Taco Bell — Restaurant in Decatur

This use to be my favorite place. But lately they must have changed the schedules cuz now the girls are not customer friendly nor do they give you a bag, but pile up your hot sauces on your box for you to spill everywhere. Also the same gordita and Doritos taco box that my fiancee has been eating for almost a year now, has changed it's items apparently. Now you get less items for more money?? Come on Decatur!! UPDATE: NO! This place has definitely NOT changed if I can give it NO ⭐s than I would. I Indeed Did try it again just recently, rather my husband and I did. I went alone after I did my errands in town one evening probably pretty early around 7 ish. I ordered at the counter Not the kiosk, (mainly because I couldn't find our box deals we always get.) While the gentleman was friendly and somewhat knowledgeable, and we had an extensive conversation about said item. Although I do disagree with not having all the stores offer the same box deals. S meaning plural, we have had and seen several different box combos. Anyway, I DID NOT CHECK THE BAG! I don't know what was wrong with me, I received a bag and no box of any kind, and whereas our bag seemed light again I didn't check it. I had been gone for awhile and was ready to go home. Surely they don't screw up your order when you go Inside!!?? Well they did, my husband never got his burrito! PLUS, I didn't get a box deal, (trying to save a few pennies somewhere,) I had the new rolled up chicken tacos, which was good but too much money for not enough food. I was disappointed however that j spent just as much money if not more than I would have two boxes! That's because they are no longer $5.00, surprise, surprise nothing is anymore. In conclusion, I want to say Taco Bell this is a small town and there is not a lot of places to eat at, but we are done! Ended up waiting several minutes before being greeted and helped. It took an exhorbantly long time to order food (cashier didn't know how to ring it up and after each peice of information we had to wait on the lead to come over and place the order--- she would just walk back away) and the cashier would stumble to the next issue on his side trying to ring it up. Mind you- we had a Breakfast Bell Box (x2) sub hashbrowns for potatoes. And 3 breakfast burritos. The cashier wasn't able to add anything to the order. The lead ended up doing it all. Instead of just assisting him through the entire order she'd leave to go back to what she was doing. It created an extremely long and frustrating check out process for me. Then. When I finally got our order- [we ordered inside TO GO.] They put it all in a tray. Take the food back when they realized I wanted it to go- like ordered... handed me 2 boxes and a small bag vs using one large bag to carry the food outside in. Once I managed my juggle of drinks and food to the vehicle we discovered my breakfast crunchwrap was meatless. And we were shirt the dessert that goes in it. Had to go back in so they could remake it and wait on the dessert balls. After feeling like we got everything right we left out. Only to discover 4 miles down the road Taco bell had inadvertently included 3 extra hashbrowns and a taco in our order. So we're pretty confident we ended up with part of someone else's order. Train your employees better before trying to turn them loose. I realize you may be short staffed. But I'd rather wait while someone is training than watch an employee struggle not knowing what to do at all and having to wait entirely on someone else to come walk them back through the process. After staying away for nearly 8 months decided to try it out again. This place will never change. I don't think I ever get a correct order. They always mess up the kids food so of course I'm turning around to go get it fixed. No problem I live 15 minutes away and can get kids in and out so easily. I know I can't be the only one that ALWAYS GETS the crappie service. Just stay away from these horribly managed people. Go to Taco Casa, call in to Casa Torres, just stay away from here.

HORRIBLE MANAGER!!!! Make sure you always check your food here bc 80% of the time you are shorted something in the drive thru window! No big deal if you catch it in line bc it's a easy fix but when you get home and realize the kids food isn't there no one cares. Instead you are insulted in front of everyone that your just another person back for free food. I wouldn't be back for only $3 of food if it wasn't for a kiddo and I wasn't asking for anything extra for their mistakes. So clearly I'm not back for free food. Most employees are nice but the managers are NOT!!! And they don't expect quality from their employees.
