First time trying Dairy Queen. I don't know if it was the location or this is per usual but not a great experience. The lady taking my order kept cutting me off mid talking to ask if I wanted anything else. No Orange Julius, no misty freeze, no pretzels. When I got to the window, the young woman handed me overflowing melting blizzards. Which continued to melt all over my car as I waited for napkins. We ordered 3 blizzards and 3 drinks and I had to ask for a drink carrier, which we had to figure out how to open ourselves. A different young lady asked saw us struggling and asked us if we would like tops of the blizzards and napkins, Thankfully. They said my card wasn't working, gave them a second card. That ones not working. So she asked for the 1st card again. 10 mins later I guess it's finally working and we actually get our food. I pull away check the food, they forgot the steak finger dinner. Had to go back and wait in line. By time we got home the blizzards had melted. The burgers were gross. 12$ for one combo and 15$ for another because they didn't have the A1 burger I saw on the website instead something completely different which they charged extra for to add the additional patties as the other one.. Neither of the burgers had sauce, dry patties, cheese didn't even melt, one strip of bacon. I'm highly unlikely to ever try dairy...
Read moreWas told they don't have ice cream. It was 15min before closing but if your going to be called "Dairy Queen" you better have DAIRY until you close! If I wanted the "we don't have ice cream right now" response, I would have went to McDonald's....As far as I'm aware, if a business says they're operating hours are from 10:00am to 10:30pm, than they should be fully operational during those hours. If they want to leave by 10:30pm than change the closing time to 10:00pm or 10:15pm so they have enough time to close up and leave by 10:30pm. Also I sat at the drive thru speaker for a couple of minutes with no service, than pullrd up to the window and they all just looked at me and I could tell they just wanted me to leave. I waved them down a few times and waited patiently for them to come to the window before they finally gave me the lame excuse of no ice cream. I'm still fuming 30+ minutes later and will not be returning to this location. The next closest one is 30 minutes away and I will gladly make that drive just to...
Read moreThe customer service is about the only thing going for this location, unfortunately. The drive thru line was wrapped during our visit around 6pm on a Friday evening, and the dining area inside had quite a few families. They were busy!
We ended up being told to get out of the drive thru, park and they would bring our order out after 10 minutes of waiting at the window after we paid. Then waited another 10 minutes parked. Once our food was brought out we discovered we were missing food! So we had to drive around and go inside. After inspecting the food once again we noticed we were STILL missing food! We had already driven off trying to get our kiddos home and ready for bedtime. So Frustrating.
We will not be stopping again at any DQ location. While this location was a star better than the last DW we visited, the pattern of missing and mediocre food follows. Waste of...
