Arrived to a clean, well staffed restaurant and was immediately seated.

Our server took our drink order and a basket of hot tortilla chips were placed before us. It came with your traditional salsa but we also received a sour cream, lime, jalapeño, spices and cilantro dip. It was just amazing.

While we waited for our entrees to arrive we dug into our bean dip and cheese dip. Fair warning, our bean dip came covered in cheese dip so you might not need the extra cheese dip. It was outstanding.

Our order entree was placed at 4:25pm and 7 short minutes later it was placed before us, sizzling.

I order the Pollo Mexicano. It consisted of grilled chicken covered with peppers & onions, rice and refried beans. Perfectly seasoned, hot, and delicious.

The husband ordered the Tres Amigos. It consisted of grilled chicken, steak, and shrimp with fried rice topped with cheese sauce. He loved every bite.

We chose to use Las Vias to cater a Staff luncheon. We needed to feed 40 employees . We basically asked for a Taco Bar and all the fixings! We asked for ground beef and grilled chicken as our meats . I must admit I was worried that there might not be enough food although Enrique had told me it basically amounts to 2 tacos 🌮- plus beans and rice per person . We were so VERY SATISFIED!!!! There was so much food - and it was great ! In addition to the meats , rice and beans - there was Fresh shredded cheese , lettuce , and salsa- guacamole and sour cream - choice of hard shell or soft - and plenty of cheese dip and chips ! Not stingy with there amounts of food . Do yourselves a favor - and let Las Vias cater your next work related function ! The price was fair AND they only had a 2 day notice and came thru for us ! ** And we had so much food that our staff made “to-go “ plates and went home happy on Friday ! The food was really good especially the jalapeno dip but this wasn't the absolute best Mexican restaurant I've been to. It's definitely better than a chain restaurant such as Taco Bell but there are few better Mexican restaurant options in the Decatur area I would put this restaurant in the top three. The service was really good as our drinks were refilled when they started running low. The server did check on us a few times to make sure everything was okay, which it was. The only problem I really had with the atmosphere is that the tables were really close together. For the sacrifice of two maybe three tables total in the entire restaurant, you would be able to sit comfortably without the back of your chair touching the back of somebody else's.
