Okay so I usually use the DRIVE through BUT Thursday morning after work & 2day I went inside! Thursday the lady that took my order did not smile ONE TIME & was RUDE- she didn't interact with me AT ALL - as I spoke 2 her! So i asked her what was her favorite menu item because i wanted to try something different. She said she like the dillas & was not a fan of the bowls- SO I FIGURED i should try a bowl BECAUSE SHE is THE TOTAL OPPOSITE of my peesonality! Lol! I got the new Acai bowl & i loved it! I didn't get her name & she didn't give me my receipt. But 2day BRAILEY told me that it would be a few minutes b4 she could take my order & I said that was fine. I sat down by the cash register because I worked all nite & was tired- there was a young lady making smoothies & she never went to the register bcuz she was bust making smoothies. So 2 ladies walk in & Brailey took their order immediately! This really SUEPEISED ME BUT I got up & stood in front of the register & she asked me if I was waiting to place an order & I told her YES! IVE BEEN WAITING BCUZ U TOLD ME TO & TOOK their order b4 me! She smiled & didn't even say sorry or lie & say she forgot about me! I won't be back!!! I waited probably 20 minutes or longer b4 I was able to order! I ultimately feel like the matter that happened 11 days ago should have been solved at this point. I had a doordash delivery. Within the delivery, all of my items were not delivered to me from the store. I did every single step in the book of common sense to make sure that anything can be FINALLY SOLVED. It hasn't and all of the phone calls and reaching out about a refund is extremely exhausting and ultimately exhausting at this point. I've talked to the necessary people that I needed to talk to and when I had a conversation that seemed like the problem would be solved.
The kind, courtesy and patience I had to have been told that this matter will be solved and I am serious seeing that it is getting nowhere have me HIGHLY DISAPPOINTED.
TO THE OWNER, I'VE ALREADY TALKED ETC ETC. I WAS PROMISED A REFUND THAT HAS NOT BEEN RECEIVED. I FEEL PLAYED AT THIS POINT. I AM TRULY DISAPPOINTED. NEVER HAD THIS TYPE OF OKIE DOKE COMING FROM A RESTAURANT. BUT IT IS WHAT IT IS AT THIS POINT.

I come to this Tropical Smoothie location often because I genuinely enjoy the food and smoothies. The quality is consistent, and it’s a go-to spot for me.
However, the customer service has been a recurring issue. Most of the staff interactions I’ve had have been less than ideal, with the exception of one guy who always provides great service (don’t know his name). On my most recent visit, I placed a larger order—4 meals and 4 smoothies. While picking it up, the manager told me I should use the app in the future to save time. That would’ve been fine, but then she said orders like mine impact their drive-thru times and could get her fired. That’s not something a customer should be made to feel responsible for.
To make matters worse, when I got back to work, the order was incorrect and missing condiments that usually come with the meals. It’s frustrating to not receive what you ordered, especially when you’re trying to support a business regularly and you’re told that your orders take too long.
