Moe's Original BBQ — Restaurant in Decatur

Went here for Lunch yesterday after we found out Mellow Mushroom was closed.... I will say this now.... I have been to ALOT of BBQ joints both major chains and smaller mom and pop shops.... and have NEVER been to a place like this.When you walk in you can smell the AMAZING smoke from the meats.... Im not sure what they use but it was Heavenly.... (we even smelled like it semi after leaving)... The food was SUPERB!!!! I dont know whats in their white and red bbq sauce but Holy crow Yummy!!!! My companion had the cole slaw and said "ITS BY FAR THE BEST I HAVE EVER HAD"... The baked beans were SOOO amazing... I had the Nachos and Everything baout it did not fail to impress!!!... The service was GREAT. They had been closed for a few days due to weather and made us feel so appreciated. The guys in back were Jovial and fun and all of them seemed to absolutley love their jobs. There is NO negative about this place at all. Please if anyone EVER gets the chance GO for some of the best BBQ and service you will ever experience!!!! OH ALMOST FORGOT!!!! They claim that their wings are the best around so I decided to try them. I ordered the wings with baked beans and potato salad. They also give you a piece of corn bread with this order, and I'm glad they did. The corn bread was delicious! The wings are decently sized, and not the small ones, but they aren't big either. The white sauce that comes with the wings was not that appealing to me personally. It tasted a little off with perhaps a bit too much of a mayonnaise flavor. The red sauce was decent and had a nice flavor with just a hint of spice, bit it was also a tad bit runny. A disappointment for anyone wanting to truly slather their wings with sauce, expecting it to stay on. Even so it didn't prevent me from getting the desired amount. Wow! That's all this review should say, but I'll go into detail. We stopped by in the way to Huntsville for supper. My family got pulled pork, but I tried the deep fried fish. As I was walking to my seat, some BBQ sauce in bottles warming in a crock pot caught my eye. I got one. I've made a few good choices in my life, but the choice to get that BBQ sauce is definitely top 3. Wow! I told the owner (?) that it was the best I've ever had. He was kind enough to hook me up with some to bring home. The fish was awesome, but with that sauce it was divine! Ok...moving on. The banana pudding is awesome too.
